Summary: A message so true, yet unaccepted
Review: I simply loved Left Behind and went on to read the other 4 books out so far. I cannot wait for The Assassins! I noticed some other reviews that mentioned it was too predictable. Hello! I thought. God shows us (not necessarily very clearly) what will happen in the future. Should we change that to take away its predictability? Oh, yes, not give this to non-believing friends? God works in miraculous ways and who knows that this book might be what helps lead someone to Him. We should not limit Him to what we think He is capable of. This will happen. Those not prepared will be left behind. I thank God I will not be one of those people. This book begs for you to answer the simple question, "Will you be left behind?" If you have not read this book, I encourage you to do so. Tell a few friends. God is using people like Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins through these novels. Trust me, read one and you will be hooked. Summary: Intensive and gripping from the very first chapter.
Review: This is not a surypy Christian Churchy overload. The scripture references are real and true but the book is not preachy. It is an amazing suspense filled ride. It is intensive from the first chapter. I couldn't put it down. I had to read most of it in one day. Two perspectives of the rapture are given and the details are surreal. It's the personal emotions and journeys that are so amazing. It's impossible to imagine what it must be like at that time but somehow this book takes you there in an amazing way. My heart was racing through the last few chapters when it was all coming together for the characters. As soon as I finished I ordered the next book in the series. Unbelievably good book.

Review: The first page of this book captured my interest, reading each page carefully, sometimes returning to re-read pages to get the full impact of the authors thoughts. I thought it was very well written and the details given puts the reader in the plane and with the characters, makes you feel like you are there pulling with them. The believers in this book are so well versed and the way the book reads as the ones left behind begin to realize that the way of the Lord is the only way. I believe the author has captured the attention of the reader and keeps that by suspense, love of the characters and intense interest on the outcome of it all.

Review: During and after reading this book, I am struck with the reality that it will happen and people will believe a lie. I'm glad I'll be one that disappears. Tell your friends and co-workers that if you disappear someday that they can be assured your in heaven! This is a great book to loan to unbelievers. The gospel is sooooo plain.

Review: Great writing - a major page turner. I am a believer but tend to stay away from the book of Revelation because it always seemed so scary. After reading this book, it made it all seem so clear, and so simple to not be "Left Behind". I can't stop thinking about it, and I can't stop talking about it. I want everyone I know to read it. Especially non-believers, or those on the edge. I think anyone who reads it will have a hard time not believing. And if they looked up the book of Revelation after it, they would believe for sure! I didn't realize this was a series (a friend gave me the book), and as soon as I was done and realized there was more, I went out that very night and bought the rest of the series.

Review: IT MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT THE RAPTURE, AND IF YOU ARE WHERE YOU REALLY NEED TO BE IN YOUR WALK WITH GOD. IT IS KIND OF SCARY TO THINK THAT YOU COULD WAKE UP AND FIND THAT ALL OF YOUR LOVED ONES ARE GONE AND YOUR STILL HERE. IT QUOTES SCRIPTURE FROM PARTS OF THE BIBLE AND BRINGS IT HOME. I FEEL EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS SERIES SO THEY ARE AWARE OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
