Summary: COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN
Review: Left Behind is a wonderful series that chronicles the last days. I purchased Left Behind at a book store in early June. By the time I was half way through the book, I had already purchased the other four. This series was so inspiring, that I began to read my Bible every evening after I put down Left Behind. Although I wouldn't call them "Great Literature", these books ARE great witnessing devices. Even if you don't agree with all of the theories, they will definitely make you think. I ordered the sixth one today.

Summary: Left Behind opened my eyes to being "Left Behind".
Review: I purchased this book simply for entertainment value. It looked like a good book. It was not too long into Left Behind that I realized that I was being educated - not in the manner that I was acccustomed to in sermon form, but in a manner that I was more receptive to. The information was presented in an entertaining but understandable format. I have also read Tribulation Force and I am waiting (impatiently) to get Nicolae from the library. I am thankful for the awakening that I have experienced from reading these books. I onlyhope that I can be ready.LaHaye and Jenkins - thank you for leading me in a better direction.

Summary: Suspenseful
Review: I think "The Triumph and the Glory" is more eloquent testimony to the grace of God, but "Left Behind" moves along with such breakneck speed and explores such a fascinating topic that it is irresistable.

Review: Wonderful first book for an excelent trilogy. You have to read the next one.

Summary: gripping, eye opening, and terrifying
Review: I recently became a new Christian. Although, God has always been a part of my life, I recently came to understand Jesus' part in it. I have been a voracious reader all my life and so it is with Christianity. What a powerful series to start on my new journey. It took me 2 weeks to complete the five books and I have my name in for Assisins for the August 4th release. I feel the need after reading this series to leave it to people who might be "left behind" as an aid.

Christian or not this series is an excellent read. Maybe even more so if you are not a Christian then it will be more entertaining and not scare you as much. I always thought the most enticing books were the ones that could actually come true.

Good luck trying to put this down and actually get some other things in your life accomplished. And God bless you all!

Summary: Exceptional book! Must read!
Review: I started reading this book and didn't want to put it down. It really makes you stop and take a good look at your personal life and where you think you stand as far as going to heaven or hell. Will you be one of the select or will you be left behind? I was amazed at how closely this book follows the Bible. If you don't believe it, read it for yourself and then read your Bible. It is all there in black and white. The Rapture is coming and no one knows when but God. The Bible is real!! It doesn't lie!!

Summary: This book really grabs you in the first chapter.
Review: Great book. The first chapter makes you want to continue reading without putting the book down. Briliantly written using the storyline directly from the bible. My hat is off to you Tim.

Summary: The book to read if you are interested in biblical prophesy
Review: The entire Left Behind series gives a powerful message on biblical prophesy. I have read all of the books out so far while doing a study on prophesy and they helped to explain so many things I didn't understand from my study. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are both lifetime scholars of bible prophesy and the books follow the bible. These books are also a great witness tool for non-believers. They are not only powerful, but completely entertaining, and no one can read them without being touched in some way. I know about 20 people who have read this series, both believers and non-believers, and everyone has loved them. The books also make great gifts and Amazon has them for a much better price than the book stores, so you can afford to give them all as a set!

Summary: When Christ Comes . . .
Review: This book is, by far, one of the best books I've ever read. I love reading books that play out in your head like you're watching a movie, and this one (along with the others) does just that. Rayford Steele is a great character, very similar to many people out there who don't know where they are now, much less where they will be going when Christ comes for His own. The story moves fast, not letting you even think of wanting to put it down. And the message is true. Sure the story line is fiction, but the premice is VERY REAL. This book should cause people to think about their own salvation.

Summary: What To Do Next?
Review: I am NOT a reader, but when someone told me about the first book I checked it out at our church library and could'nt put it down!! So I asked my husband to buy ALL 5 books for me (not wanting to wait for the next book to come in to the library). I haven't been able to stop reading. What a wonderfull feeling to sit and not want to put a book down!!! I'm on the 4th book now and wondering what I'll do for reading material after the last book!
