Summary: Not literature
Review: Fine Bible study, but not good literature. Not the best writing, character development or plotting. If you want more quality writing/suspense and less Bible lesson, read the more challenging account of end times in Glenn Kleier's THE LAST DAY, which is the high water mark of all the millennium-based thrillers out there (and I know, I read them all.)

Summary: EXCELLENT!!!
Review: Thought provoking, inspirational, convicting, Biblical, and conscious raising. Interesting from front to back. I couldn't put it down. It inspired me to evaluated my relationship with God and what would happen to me during the rapture. I know that I will be going home with the Father, but I really need to devote more time to Him.

Summary: Only thing Left Behind was the author's writing skills!
Review: The first 50 pages caught my attention -- the next 50 lost it! The concept is good (despite the author's own religious zealotry) but the lack of writing talent is clear from page one. This could have been overlooked, but the characters were paper thin and predictable. Anyone who read this book knew from the first that Nicolae Carpathia was the villain -- the name alone sounds like it belongs in a Harlequin Romance novel. Unfortunately even the good premise of the books won't convince me to buy the rest of the series. What a waste of a good concept -- if you want real talent and an end of the world story, read Robert McCammon's Swan Song. It outshines Left Behind.

Summary: Great reading. Keeps you in the story.
Review: Left Behind is a great book for those who question what will happen in the end-times. The plot/story keeps you reading. It was hard to put the book down.

Summary: A definate MUST read!!
Review: I had seen these books in various advertisements but never thought to pick them up. Since I am a reading fanatic, I like to always have a couple of books going at one time - and I found myself lacking one day. So I took a stroll down to the local christian bookstore and picked up the series. Let me just say that I could not put the book down!! I blitzed through the entire series in a week and a half! Not only does it re-remind me of my commitment to God, but it drives home the urgency of getting right with God. The only negative I might have is I got tired of them continually doing character summarys - how they got to where they were etc... but other than that - WOW! Give me more...

Summary: Made me want to ensure I had a close relationship with God
Review: After reading this book, I was trying to tell everybody that they needed to get their life right with God. This is no joke. I wouln't want to be here when this story becomes real life. It is a great, easy read.

Summary: Best Christian book I have every read
Review: I love books that are suspensful. This book reminds me of the Stephen King of Christian books. I never though a christian book could be so adventourous. Then ending really surprised me. I am over half done with the second book. Can't wait to get done and go on to the third book.

Summary: I MUST SAY I BELIEVE NOW!
Review: My Aunt recommended this first novel to me and I thought, "What the hey" since I was on vacation and needed a good book to read. Luckily enough for me when I went to a store to buy them they had them all on sale. So I bought the first four, thank goodness because I read them in the first four days. "Left Behind" is such a brilliant book and left me wanting to become a believer in the Lord all over again. I am not a religious fanatic but I did tackle my Bible once again, in hopes to understand the scriptures they spoke of in the novel. The only problem I can say that I have had with the first novel, as well as the rest of the series, is they do cut away - say eight months later, five years later (okay they didn't go that far!) - a bit too much. I think it would be better if they went into more detail of each character, instead of grouping them all into one and leaving us guessing as to what went on during that eight month period or so that they skipped over (the months they skip over vary obviously from book to book). I do enjoy the introduction of the characters in each novel, but again, wish they would focus more on the main characters they started the series with. ANyway - this is a brilliant first book. I read it within one day...I couldn't even put it down. I didn't want to put it down. The same goes for the others in the series although I have just bought "Assassins" and haven't had time to sit down and read it...I am sure it is as good as the others. I have already recommended this series to numerous people...and they have all agreed with me and we all have begun rereading our Bibles and marking passages that correspond with the book, as well as passages that don't. I honestly think this book set out to do what it meant to do and that is to make a believer out of people.

Summary: You have got to read these book's !
Review: I thought prophecy was getting alittle tiresome until I picked up "Left Behind" series. The books have been a blessing to me and my fellow co-workers that it has awakened my appreciation of the Revelation scripture. The future is clear !!!!!

If you want to know what it will be like to be left behind - read these !!!!
