Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Poor literature Review: Although this book had fewer flips back and forth between characters, it still is far too often for enjoyable reading. The story is interesting and I applaud their efforts, but the characters are shallow and Chloe is becoming very annoying; the characters are described time and again rather than developed and drawing the reader into that development. Perhaps the most annoying facet is the book describes a piece Chaim wrote, then includes a couple of pages of what Chaim wrote, and then all the other characters are greatly moved/touched/yada yada by it. I feel either it should be moving and not described or not included and we should just be told it was moving. To outline eschatology thought and then complement oneself through fictional characters seems extremely self-glorifying and nauseating.Skip this book. The fact that the number of books is jumping and that the overall plot development is slow and occurs mainly at the end of the book makes the authors seem greedy.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: This book is totally thought provoking. It made me question my knowledge of the Book of Revelation. I am devoted to reading as much as I can to find out more meaning behind the Rapture. I can't wait to start the next in this series. The down side of this is that you must read the next book in order to find what happens.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: The book of Revelation goes commercial Review: This is a poorly written book. To call it a novel raises its credibility too high. This book reads like an 8th graders interpretation of an "end-times" Babptist sermon. Don't waste your money when you can get this message for free at any fundamentalist church.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Helped me with my priorities Review: This book made me realize I spend too much time worrying about things that are not really important and got me thinking about what I should be working on right now. I read this book in one day, and the next book "Tribulation Force" in the next three (and I only had time to read it in the mornings and evenings). I am about to read the third book and want to read the entire series, even though that seems a little daunting. The first two books did seem to end suddenly, thus requiring one to continue through the series, which does make me wonder about the authors' motivation after "Left Behind."
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Absolutely wonderful! Review: Couldn't put it down. The story and the facts are very well written. You can go to your Bible and check it all out. Very thought provoking with interesting with real characters, not wimps, as Christians are usually portrayed. Loved it! Recommend it highly!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: First in series, Great! Couldn't wait for the next book. Review: This book is based on the book of Revelation from the Bible. The characters are very real. This could happen to you.... are you ready??
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book was incredible! Review: When I first started this book I was skeptical. After all I have usually shied away from apocallyptic works because they tend to be very depressing. I was quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case in this book. The choice that LaHaye and Jenkins made in focusing on the hope of Rayford, Chloe, Bruce and Buck was just right. Watching these four characters find their faith after the tragedy of the world-wide disappearances and go on to begin to live God's word in the hope of seeing the Glorious Appearing is incredible and awe-inspiring. I have never felt so uplifted after reading what I originally assumed was going to be a very depressing book. Keep up the good work!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I couldn't put this book down! Review: I loved reading this book. It was written for everyone, Christian or not. I believe this book can and will convert many. It's written with excellence and suspense. I had to reach the end before I put it down.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: A poor meal of a book Review: Is this book were a meal, it would be a bowl of water thin apologetic soup, some hard cheese literalism, a club-you-over-the-head morality sandwich, a side of paper-thin character chips with a heaping bowl of word salad, to go. Although it definitely leaves a stong taste in your mouth, it's just not very filling.
