Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Should have left it on the shelf! Review: I am not one to quit reading a book, no matter how lousy, but I was tempted. I like apocalyptic fiction. This work made me feel like the time I let one of those guys in the white short sleeve shirts and ties in the house and was verbally pinned to my couch by his proselytizing. I don't like to have religion shoved down my throat in the guise of a promise of a good read. Yuck!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It is no doubt one of the best books of our age. Review: It unlocks all the mystery to Revelations in a way that all can understand. It is a wake up call. The prophecy has always been with us. Left Behind is a shocking account of what those left after the rapture will face.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Don't want to put these books down..... Review: I started the Left Behind series on the recommendation of friends at work....I am so glad I did. I have read the bible, so I knew the details but it is so interesting to read them in this format. This feels real, which I hadn't really thought about before, what it will truly be like for those who remain here on earth after the rapture of the church. What the people "left behind" will actually experience and feel. Anyone interested in how Christians believe the world will end should read these books...I don't think you will be sorry. In fact, it could possibly be the smartest move you make!

Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Subject matter has been done better elsewhere. Review: The subject matter of this book has been done with much better style and grace in other books such as " The End " by Matt Ronan or "Next : A Poetic Odyssey " by Lee Frank.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Definitely a must read! Review: Once I picked this book up, I could not get enough. This great book opens eyes as to what is possibly to come. I would definitely recommend this book for reading. Now that I have finished this one, I am buying the next books in the series.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Just what I was looking for. I could not put it down. Review: I recently completed my MCSE+Internet certification and wanted something to read besides my training manuals. I was close to reading burn-out after thirty manuals. I wanted something that would be an easy read and would hold my attention. "Left Behind" was a refreshing change, as I read it in three days. I am not even going into the religious debate. I will leave that to others. If you are looking for a "highly educated" read, then look elsewhere. This is neither Clancy's "Red Storm Rising" nor Homer's "Illiad", but it is an intetesting little story. I will state that I am a college graduate, and I do hold some of the highest certifications in my field. I believe that it was because of my background, not in spite of it, that I enjoyed this book. More than likely, you will either love "Left Behind" or despise it. I cannot tell you how to think, but I will ask you to give it a chance.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: very compelling Review: I loved the book and hope it sends a message to many who do not have a clue about Revelations because many mainstream churches do not wish to address this book of the bible. My own, included. I do think the airline part was quite phony, especially the flight attendant portion. It seems that everyone uses flight attendants as examples of corruption. As a flight attendant myself, I tire of this. I wish my husband did not have to endure the looks and smirks behind such assumptions when folks discover he is married to one. I am a christian who hopes this book and others that followed will bring us to realize that we need to expecially address our youth problem. I have 3 older children and pray for them daily. It's difficult out there.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Superb! LaHaye and Jenkins hit a home run! Review: I just finished reading Left Behind and I must say I could not put it down. The suspense kept me turning pages and reading as fast as I could. Near the end I felt my pulse race and my heart pound. I found myself caught up in the action of this true to life novel. I found this book theologically correct and anyone who says otherwise has obiviously never even read the Book of Revelation. These two artists image of events that could possibly unfold in days soon to come is very realistic and fits perfectly with the prophecy in Revelation. Great job LaHaye and Jenkins! I cannot wait to crack open Tribulation Force and find out what happens next.
