Summary: page turning and spellbinding
Review: This book should be made into a movie!! I couldn't put it down. What a great way to get information to non christians ... I gave my life to the lord after reading it!

Summary: ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!
Review: I READ THIS BOOK IN 4 DAYS, UNABLE TO PUT IT DOWN! IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE A STORY HAS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION IN SUCH A WAY!! THANK GOD, I'M A CHRISTIAN!! THIS IS A BOOK YOU SHOULD SEND TO ALL OF YOUR NON-BELIEVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR SURE! THE AUTHORS KEPT TO THE REALITY OF THE TRIBULATION WHILE INGROSSING YOU IN THE DRAMA OF THE CHARACTERS. THE READING WAS EASY AND INDEED KEPT YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT THROUGHOUT THE STORY!! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE NEXT BOOK!! BRAVO!!!

Summary: Christian-right propaganda at its worst!
Review: I wish I'd known more about this book before I bought it. I read a few passages over someone's shoulder on the train into work and decided to read the whole book. What a mistake! As a Jew, I found this book incredibly offensive. I'd throw it in the trash if I didn't have objections to wasting paper!

Summary: I think this book should be read by everyone!!!!!
Review: I think the book was great! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series! Anyone who is struggling in their faith and needs a lift should read this series(Everyone else should too). No matter what other people say, I think LaHaye and Jenkins did a wonderful job. Also, I think we should thank God for giving us the gift of salvation. I hope you will not be LEFT BEHIND!

Summary: Interesting concept, but poor writing
Review: My summary says it all. I am just doing my part to bring the overall rating of this book down. A very quick read with a great concept, but something is lost in the writing and blatant propaganda.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: supremely thought-provoking
Review: I find it sad that some people reviewed this book as silly, boring, etc. Wake up folks! You are the ones who WILL be left behind. This book is absolutely factual in its biblical representation. Sure is is written in fiction form and some areas may not and were not meant to be factual, that's why it's called "fiction". However, the events chronicled are non-fiction. They are from the Bible. I am riveted to the series, and can't wait to get to the next book. I have read most of the books in one day.I pray for all those who don't believe what this series is trying to tell them--that Jesus is the Messiah and is returning one day for his people. What is in store for those left behind is too terrible to contemplate--please don't wait until it is too late.

Summary: a couldn't put it down book.
Review: Once I started to read this first of a series, I read until my eyes burned, but could not stop. I have been a believer for a long time, but these books are like 2x4's over the head to make me realize how a world without faith in the Lord could survive. Thank you Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins for giving us a virtual reality look at the book of Revelations. It is well written, not trite, and needs to be a movie. I only have Assassins to read and can't wait.

Summary: Read it from cover to cover in less than 2 days!
Review: This is a great book! I love the plot, good characters and the story moves fast. I completely recommend it! I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the other five books in the series straight out. I'm starting the second book in the series right now...

Summary: Fast read---Bad message
Review: It's easy to hack the Bible for the sake of fiction and money, but to do it so amateurishly and to so artificially construct upon the book of Revelations is a sacrilege that might impress only the slowest of folk. This is all made up, people, with the most cringingly obvious stock characters, the cheapest of sentimentalism to substitute for faith, no real character development, completely ridiculous situations. On the plus side, it IS a fast read, mostly because there is no actual substance in to engage the mind or the soul. Now, the Bible states clearly right at the end of Revelations that for anyone to add to the things said in that book, change them, construct on them, substract from them in any way is a big no no. Read your Bible again, please. And don't substitute true faith for cheap crass commercialism.

Summary: Disappointed and Duped
Review: After hearing about this book for months, finally settled in one night with my new copy.......I should have watched Wrestling instead! It appalls me to think that such simplistic and unimaginative writing could suck so many people in. While I am among those "seeking more answers" to the life of my soul, this book is only an example of literary effort at its worst, not to mention the religious bigotry. Just another commercial example of those who consider themselves "Saved" and use a book like this to besmerch every other religion on the face of this earth. I stopped half way through and tossed it in the trash.......don't even feel like passing it on to the Donated Book Sale at the Mall.......quite frankly, I think J.C. would have done the same!
