Rating: Summary: It was fantastic Review: I am on book number 4 Soul Harvest. The books to this series is fantastic. If you want action and adventure, I encourage you to read this book. This book series has everything to it.
Rating: Summary: Great Fiction Reading for all ages Review: These books bring so many things to light, whether they are truthful to the Bible or fictional to add to the book. They make you think and dream and wonder. It amazes me that some people review the book as if it is the Bible or an interpretation of the Book of Revelations, it isn't. It is Fiction, just for peoples enjoyment, if you don't like it, don't read it. But keep in mind it is just for entertainment, but for some it is very enlightening.
Rating: Summary: I could not put it down. Review: A friend of mine recommended this book and now I am recommending it to everyone. I don't think that I have ever read a book that has had more of an impact on me then this one has. I, like anyone else that read the book, do not know if what we are reading is going to come to pass, but I can tell you this, it really made me think about my life and how I live it. I have bought the next to books in the series and am looking forward to reading them.
Rating: Summary: A must for Christians and a witness for unbelievers. Review: You won't be able to put it down and will have the willies up your spine while reading it. Ideally, every Christian would have at least two copies to loan out to those who can't afford to buy "Left Behind." It will put chills up your spine, make you reassess your own relationship with God, mandate that you recommend it to everyone you meet (especially other Christians), energize your own witness with a renewed sense of urgency, make you celebrate that you won't have to go though this and grieve that there are still those who will. Biblically accurate, suspenseful, and frightening when you realize there are so many who still don't know! If I had the money, I'd buy tens of thousands of copies and give to everyone I meet!
Rating: Summary: Keeps you thinking, long after you finish it. Review: Not what you'd expect in a "christian book". This book had it all...suspense, drama, and lot's of thought provoking content. I was pleased to find out that this is just the first in a series so I have much more good reading to look forward to. It's hard to read this and look at the news the same way again.
Rating: Summary: Left Behind you will be if you shun this series too quickly. Review: I have read everyone of the books in the Left Behind series and find them to be rivoting. The new perspective I was able to gain about the book of Revelations has encouraged me to speak boldly to others about my faith in God, and about God's gift of salvation. The writers do not add to or take away from "Revelations", but paint a picture of Revelations that all can comprehend. If you are of Jewish, Catholic, Prodestant, Budhist, etc...faiths please read on. The first book just touches lightly on the actual rapture. The life that follows the rapture for those "Left Behind" is described in great detail later in the series and may change your viewpoint if you are a critic. For the believer of what God's word says, this series will inspire you to exercise your faith in a more personal way and empower you to keep others from being "Left Behind"
Rating: Summary: Lukewarm writing about a less than solid Biblical view Review: Christians, read your Bible. If you haven't read your Bible all the way through use the time you would have spent reading this series to catch up on Scripture reading. Let Scripture dictate your doctrine. The foundation of this entire series - the rapture - is a doctrine based on about three less-than-explicit verses. There is a lot more basis for other end-times beliefs. Non-Christians, I recomend you read something else if this would be your introduction to Christian beliefs. The writing just isn't that good, and the story is not representative of all Christian thought. I really feel uncomfortable "bashing" anyone's work, and I'm confident that the author's motives and intentions were pure. But I just can't recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: it was a great book for all ages Review: I thought it was an awesome book for all ages it completely gave me a better idea of what was going to happen in the end times and I really enjoyed reading it!
Rating: Summary: It brought me back to God Review: I was in touch with God as a teenager and I lost the way somehow. This book reminded me that I am still one of God's children, and I plan to start attending church, becoming a real member and bringing my children as well.
Rating: Summary: It was a book that was hard to put down! Review: I enjoy this subjuect matter anyway, but I found it difficult to put the books down. My favorite was the Tribulation Force, the second in the series, but have enjoyed every one of them.
