Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: For what it's worth..my two cents Review: Like others who have posted here, this book was recommended to me with great fanfare. As someone who is a Christian, I looked forward to reading it with the hope that it presented a message which could be shared with my friends and family who are not Christian. Was I ever disappointed. And even more to the point, I was embarassed. This book is full of cliches, some of the most uninterestng characters I have ever experienced in litertature, and numerous (too many to name here)plot discrepencies. As a believer we are challenged to spread the gospel, this book does nothing to further the gospel in the eyes of the non-believer. My greatest concern is that any non-believer would foreever be flabbergasted at the simplistic writing style exhibited in this book.My recommendation is to spend time reading the Bible and let God's grace speak to you. This did nothing of the sort to me. Regards,
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Shivers Review: I read this book in two days after a doctor in the office that I work at loaned it to me. I started getting the chills at about the third page of this book and spent a sleepless night finishing it. Many of us in the office have read the books and all agree they are spectacular. It definitely made me think about my own mortality and gave me hope that there is more out there than just death as an end as long as you believe.

It is stimulating, breathtaking, and enlighting. I can't wait for the movie to come out. I would give it better than 5 stars if possible.s
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the Most Important works of fiction ever printed Review: First of all, I would like to say that yes, this is a Christian book, and yes, we do believe that Christianity is the only way to view God. This book is a very easy read. It is not on a childish level, but is simple and easy to follow. As for some setting information not being specific, your imagination can fill that in, making the book more relatable to everyone. The content is uncompromising, clear, and uncomplicated. It provides a very real look at what is going to happen. You find yourself rooting for the characters to be saved instead of like in most fiction where there is a love story and you root for them to "get together". As for the Y2K hype, the book was printed in 1996 and there was a movie in the 70's of a similar nature. This was not published to promote hysteria. Those who don't like this book's content are those who don't like the exclusivity of Christianity. For those searching or for those who are already Christians, this book is a MUST READ AND PASS ALONG!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Absolutely Amazing Review: This is a must-buy for Christians. It puts the Bible in perspective about the future and about how precious little time we have left on Earth. Once you read it, you'll have no choice but to examine yourself. I'm recommending it to everyone.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Bad writing, thin characters Review: I got the book because I was interested to see how someone might fictionalize the book of Revelations. But the writing was so bad and the characters so thin, that it was hard to get through.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The book that started it all! Review: With a clarity of theme that rivals 'The Triumph and the Glory' and 'Faith of My Fathers' for power and dedication to presenting GOOD role models to the reading public, Jenkins and LHayes' Left Behind captures the readers' hearts with heart-pounding depictions of the Rapture and the world left behind to face the judgements of Revelation.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WARNING! This book causes serious sleep deprivation! Review: No kidding.. I started this "Left Behind" early yesterday evening and read until 2 am! I just couldn't put it down. "Left Behind" presents the sensational story of the Rapture in a clear, articulate, and believable fashion. Readers can easily relate to the book's well written, down to earth characters and their very human reactions to the surrounding chaos. "Left Behind" is a fast-paced, action packed book that will keep you turning pages while challenging and expanding your mind.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Left Behind Review: This is an excellent & very well written book regardless of your religious affiliation. The characters are vivid & you can almost feel yourself being pulled into the story. Once you read this book you'll be hooked & will just have to read the rest of the books in the series. If you don't have time to read the book, get the audiotape. It's equally as good.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Breathtaking and provocative! Review: To date, I read / listened to Left Behind, Tribulation Force, and Nicolae and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I plan to read / listen to the remaining three books (Soul Harvest, Apollyon, and Assassins) in the near future. The experience has inspired me to finish reading the gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Thereupon, I will attempt to read Revelation. Why do I want to read Revelation? Well, in the event that I am not raptured, I want to know exaclty what will happen to me (and what I need to do to be saved before my death). However, I plan to be raptured. Why do I make such a claim? Well, because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior and truly know that he died for my sins and rose three days later. I try daily live according to His teachings. I recommend that you read Left Behind. It is insightful and truly based on a Christian theme. I truly believe that your life will be changed. It has changed mine!
