Summary: Any fairytale lovers best friend!
Review: I thought this was an awesome book! It has tons of awesome stories and anecdotes! I had to do a biography on Patricia C Wrede and I found he to be an amazing author! I hope you u will tell all your fairytale loving friends!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: it was pretty good
Review: If you are a fan of Patricia Wrede, and her Enchanted Forest Chronicles, you will want to read this book. I think it was a pretty good book but i don't really like compilations of different short stories put together in one book (if that makes any sense) so coming from me, it means a lot. I recommend that you first read the Enchanted Forest Chronicles to get an idea of what the enchanted forest is like, and besides that the enchanted Forest Chronicles are an excellent set of books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: short stories that rock!
Review: If you read some of wrede's other books you should really read this!

Some of the stories are humorous, but others are more serious, all of them are good!

Two of the stories are set in the enchanted forest.

At the end there is the Quick After-battle Triple Chocolate cake!

Summary: Hmmm... short stories
Review: If you're a fan of short stories, you'll love this book. I, unfortunately, am not one of them. There is one story I really like in this book, and that is "The Frying Pan of Doom" because it continues the story from "The Enchanted Forest Chronicles." I do like a few others like the one about curses and the one in the rosegarden. Even though I don't really like short stories much (it's only because I read them too fast and I like a book to last), I like most of them in this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Enjoyable short stories for everyone!
Review: Just as I said in my title, this book is thouroghly enjoyable. A must read for fantasy lovers. My favorites out of all of them, I must say are: Cruel Sisters, and Roses of Prophesy. I also like this other one, but unfortunately, I cannot remember the title. Something about the curses of a kalif.

Summary: A very fun book for all ages
Review: Patricia C. Wrede has always been one of my favorite authors, and her newest book does not dissapoint. The Frying Pan of Doom is hilarious

Summary: She's done it again!
Review: Patricia C. Wrede has come out with yet another delightful book! It is a collection of stories that cover a range of places and themes. I got this book in hardcover because I just knew that it wouldn't stand up in paperback and because I just couldn't wait to have it in my collection! Her sense of humor is always there, even if you can't tell at times. Her characters are so real and have their faults too! I like books where you can relate to the characters. She's just great!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A lively mixture of stories
Review: Patricia C. Wrede has compiled a variety of stories in The Book of Enchantments. Each one of the eleven is different and unique-- from light and humorous like The Princess, the Cat, and the Unicorn (in which the unicorn turns out to be vain and foolish) to serious (Earthwitch, Roses by Moonlight) to downright chilling (Cruel Sisters, Stronger than Time). Cruel Sisters in particular is my favorite-- a very clever twist on an old ballad called The Twa Sisters in which the elder sister drowns the younger. Or does she?

If you enjoy these short story compilations, you might also enjoy Vivian Vande Velde's Curses, Inc. and A Wizard's Dozen by various authors.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great read
Review: Patricia C. Wrede has written 10 memorizing, wonderfully humorous tales about magic, love, and life. I reccomend this book to anybody who is interested in an amusing twists of fairy tales.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Some are good some are bad; best part is at the end!
Review: The book has many stories, and some are really good, others are lame. For me the best part of the book was at the end, when the author explains where she had the ideas for each story.
