Summary: Nifty fluff starring everyones favorite acid spewing alien.
Review: A mad scientist creates a supposedly trainable warrior alien (aka The Rogue) in his isolated research outpost. Aliens: Rogue borrows quite a few elements from the movie Aliens (considering this is a sequel of sorts it makes sense) and even Alien 3 (all those deserted mining tunnels and such). While this isn't literature it is a simple (but not overly simplistic) shoot 'em up and get out alive piece of entertainment. A true blue b-movie on paper. Recommended.

Summary: This book is amazing!
Review: Aliens: Rogue is by far the best book I've ever read. I seriously could not put it down. The book should become a movie. There was everything you could possibly want: sex, aliens, a mad scientist, and marines kicking ... Plus an amazing battle at the end. I strongly recommend this Aliens book for anyone who was not too pleased with the last ones. I totaly believe that if you read this book, you'll feel the exact way I do towards it.
"READ IT!"

Summary: Best yet!
Review: Aliens:Rogue is without a doubt the best Aliens book yet. The story is excellent and the action never lets up, leading to an intense and rewarding ending. Excellent book.

Summary: A science fiction thriller based upon the Aliens Trilogy
Review: Aliens:Rouge is a great book! It's about a mad scientist who thinks the aliens infesting the planet are his "children". He sacrifices more and more unwilling people to the hive but that's nothing compared to his new creation: a giant sized creature that will force the whole populace to rize up toghether in a desperate fight for survival!

Summary: Yawn, read the others in the series
Review: Altough I love the Aliens book series, this one was a let down for me. For some reason I just couldn't get into the story. The authors didn't do a very good job of building up the characters. I found myself not really caring if they lived or died. Secondly, there were way too many people in the story. I think the novels where there are only a few people trying to stay alive are much more interesting and suspenseful. I mean, there were like 150 good-guys, way too many in an Aliens book. And finally, the ending was so stupid and predictable I almost laughed. The evil scientist dies and the heroines escape, couldn't see that coming. Contrary to how harsh I sound, it was a pretty good book, although it got boring towards the end. The Schofields are good writers and I've enjoyed some of the other books they've written, but this one just didn't measure up.

Summary: Much like The Labirynth or Nightmare Asylum, but better.
Review: By reading the cover of this book, I got the impression that it would be much the same as Nightmare Asylum or The Labyrinth. A paranoid guy in command of a remote space staion is breeding Aliens for some reason. But when I read the book, I noticed many differences, or improvements, on these novels. For instance, the action sequences are much more exciting and a real enjoyment, and there is a real feeling of fear from beginning to end. Unfortunately, there isn't quite enough character developement save for the main heroine. Overall, a very good book.

Summary: Team work among writers makes its mark
Review: No, I don't believe in cruelty to animals. That being said, I think this is one great book. Hard to read, yes, but very rewarding if you like solid sci-fi with a balanced amount of action, suspense, and drama. There are also tiny sprinkles of mystery here and there.
The story begins when an African-American transport pilot (Joyce, I think her name is) makes her way to a space rock/station. There, she catches up with an old friend, both unaware that professor Ernst Kleist is up to very evil experiments.
The title, Rogue, comes from a domestic alien bred by Kleist himself. That's all I'm saying cuz I don't want to spoil anything.
This book is somehwat of a departure from the Alien movies (not just because Ripley's not even mentioned) but it's equally as good.

Pay no attention to any ads for other books that say stuff like "If you liked Aliens Rogue...". This story is one of a kind.
