Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Read it again and again!!!! Review: Sit back relax and just read. You will not leave a better person or with a deaper understanding of the mysteries of life but you will have enjoyed yourself. If you love fantasy or Science fiction you will truely enjoy the life of Paks. My only complaint is that Moon did not write anouther book. If your read Liars Oath (which I do not recommend). You will see a very large place for at anouther book in this series, and after reading Oath or Gold you will truly yearn for more. Paks is after all a very young Paladin
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: This was a very good ending book. Review: Still not up to par with the first book, this book was much better than the second book. A few silly sub-plots, but otherwise a sensational book.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Very Good Read Review: This book will probably not win an award for best author, or best story. It may never be the most profound fantasy book you've every read, but it is very good. I've often found myself talking about this book with friends, and have even loaned out copies of the book, and I have on more than one occasion thought about the series overall with fondness and wished that Elizabeth Moon would write additional novels to further develop the universe she created.Overall, a story that gets better over time, especially when compared side by side to the sheer amount of pulp - fantasy that chokes the shelves of modern day bookstores....
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Conclusion to a stunning series! Review: This entire series was a breath of fresh air. It had been a while since a fantasy series had grabbed me with both hands and refused to let go. The first two books (SHEEPFARMER'S DAUGHTER and DIVIDED ALLEGIANCE) were action packed, had great character development, and a gripping plot. This book was no exception. Again we are treated to Ms. Moon's excellent characterization. Her dialogue, the interactions of the characters, and the growth and change of the characters made the book a joy to read. The character development nearly outshadowed the plot of the entire series. They are so vivid and so dynamic that they seem to almost jump off the page (or drag the reader into it). This book sees Paks attempting to fulfil her destiny. About 100 pages into the book, she is 180 degrees different from where we left her in the last book. We see her come to grips with who she is and what she can do. We sympathize with her trying to accept how other people now view her and with her struggle to fulfil the destiny that has been hinted at since the early pages of SHEEPFARMER'S DAUGHTER. Paks has got to be one of the most memorable characters in all of fantasy. The climax and ending are subtly done. I felt that the way Ms. Moon ended the book was consistent with the way she had written the entire series. Sometimes when I finish a book, I feel a little sad or I ask myself, "That's it?" This ending, though, left me completely satisfied. Well...maybe I did have a few questions, but, since all of one's questions are never truly answered, it was a fitting ending. All in all, I truly enjoyed reading this series. It was one of the best I'd read in a long time. If you're a fantasy fan, you won't want to miss this.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 3rd of the best series ever Review: This is the best book ever. Paksenarrion is finally a hero, and gets to be one in the most exciting and worthy manner possible. This book makes me grin every page, except in the one part that I won't say about for the benefit of those who haven't read it yet. It ends perfectly, and contains only one problem: it ends.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book Review: this is the last book in Moon's "deed of paksenarrion" trilogy, so my first advice would be to read the other 2 books before picking this one up. the book *does not* stand alone, and has frequent refrences to people and events in the preceeding books. there is an edition out there that contains all three novels, and i'd definately reccomend picking that up, as these aren't really seperate books, just a continuation of one long story. all that being said, i highly reccomend this trilogy. Moon has written a strong, convincing heroine that rides to her own rescue. the story of the sheepfarmer's daughter that leaves her small-town life to train to be a warrior and ends up being one of the greatest knights in history is a fun, engaging read. if you come to this third book having read the first two, you know that you will be unable to put it down any time soon (the cliffhanger ending of the second book is really frustrating if this one isn't in hand). 'oath of gold' doesn't dissapoint: it's a solid conclusion to paksennarion's big tale.
