Rating: Summary: Whiny brat grows up (a little) Review: The last third of this book was pretty good, but the first 2/3's almost made me give up. The Pathwarden family is a typical "new money" family with very bratty kids. There are better ways to present a self-centered character than those used by the author.
Rating: Summary: High comedy and adventure in one. Review: The main character is the epitome of the reluctant hero. I enjoyed the first-person narrative, and was especially impressed by the unwillingness of the narrator to be heroic through most of the book. This is one I hope to read again!

Rating: Summary: I greatly enjoyed it Review: The main character was sort of annoying but he was so well done that it is hard to get upset about it. The book is fairly funny and it has a good adventure in it. It was enjoyable because of its lightness. The main character (Weasel) is brutally honest about his less than corrageous actions while acting as a squire for Sir Bayard Brightblade. Even if you have never read a dragonlance book before this book will be just as good as if you were a long-time fan
Rating: Summary: Weasel's luck gets him by, barely Review: this book is very slow compared to the others, around page 120, or chapter 7 i am guessing someone told the author to lighten the mood a little. apparentlly it worked, and the book is lifted from the mire.
Rating: Summary: Great book! Review: This book was quite differant in a way, but in a very good way! i highly recommend that you read it, but i dont want to say anything else because i might ruin it!
Rating: Summary: excellent read Review: this book was quite interesting. while it appears at first to be farfetched and "unDL-like", it progressively gets better and better until you can't put it down. the unique perspective of the "author" and the cunning evil of the scorpion make this one shine.
Rating: Summary: A good interlude in to Galen Beknighted(4 stars) Review: This book was slow going at first then it picked up.. and when you get to Galen Beknighted it picks up and doesn't stop.
Rating: Summary: A Weasel's Whining and Grouth Review: This is another fine book in the DragonLance Saga, though at times you might grow tired of listening to the main character whine about the happenings. The book is pre-War of the Lance and contains new characters not in any other books...aside from the subsequent book released from the author.
Rating: Summary: Interesting point of view Review: Usually, an author writes the good vs. evil struggle in a typical third person fashion. This is through the eyes, voice, and ears of Galen Pathwardin. His story, his trials, his growth. The evil Scorpion is not your typical villain either ... he shows more villains signs than those before him. Sadistic, truly evil... that's what makes a GOOD villain. The story merges with the di Caela family curse, adds magic, illusion, undead, minotaurs, the list could go on and on. An excellent read that requires patience through the first half, but well worth the read.
