Rating: Summary: An exciting story about a city in trouble Review: So far the story is magnificent! I am still in the introduction and it is getting better. The war that is going on is very confusing at first but I think I'm starting to get it. The conflict between Simeon and Hap is very detailed with description and it makes it more interesting. Joat, the child that ran away from her "owner", is very energetic and smart. Her lifestyle was very "dashing" so to speak because she was alwas evading the inspection teams when they came by to check up on the area. Her mechincal know-how is quite amazing for a girl her age. When Simeon and Hap adopted her she began a new life with a new home.
Rating: Summary: McCaffrey with an attitude! Review: The interplay between authors in the shell person series is fascinating. S. M.
Stirling's influence is shown with more graphic violence and character shades of
the mercenaries in "Prince of Sparta". (also well worth reading) The meld of the
two styles may be surprisingly entertaining for die hard McCaffrey fans. It is not
the kinder, gentler action you are accustom to but a much grittier and sadly
somewhat more believable sadistic bad guys. It would be a real treat to see the
Kolnari show up on War World's Haven and confront the Saurons. Evil vs. evil
would be interesting and allow some relief for the rest of Haven. As much as a
dragon fan as I am, I found this book very hard to put down and compelling to
complete. A sequel is left open, I appeal to the authors to pick up the option and
treat us to another heart accelerating story with Joat, Channa and Simeon as a
dreadnought.

Rating: Summary: This book is highly insulting to women! Review: This book is highly insulting to women! He sexual alludes to situations that either cannot happen according to the storylines or physically happen according to human biology. This did surprised me since I have read many of her works of fiction. I cannot believe that Anne McCaffrey would have anything to do with this novel. It is highly offensive to women and is not worth reading!
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!! Review: This is the best Anne McCaffrey book ever! It's great, just like all the other ones in this series. This book just made my "top ten books of all time" list.
Rating: Summary: Great. Jesse andJennifer give 2 Thumbs up. Review: This is the second B&B I've read. I love it
