Summary: *******************Rock on Claidi *****************
Review: Hey I love this book becaus its writen as a journel. And to give you a littel bit of a over viwe : Claidi is a 16 year old maid servent how steals a journel ( refered to as 'This Book') from her master. And one day as they are proforming a saromone a sranger apers. And to not tell you every thing ( but just so much to hook you) They escap to a place called the wast. And as Claidi wounders what, tomorow brings, if she'll live, and if she can trust anyone, she has a fulfilling adventer.

I don't read very fast but I oved this Book so much I read it in 4 Days. I like this book also becuse I was abel to agre, and sometimes relate, to the way she reacts in some situation.

Now that I'v done that let me just say, I know I didn't tell you about all the peopel she meets but, after I read the whole book , I went back and re-read all of the parts with Argul! Elizabeth =}

Summary: nothing to look forward to
Review: I absolutely loved the first book and was dying for Wolf Tower, the sequel. Well it was definitely a disappointment. I felt like it was dragged out and fairly boring. Claidi's adventures were pretty uneventful although i'm still looking forward to Wolf Queen, the 3rd book because the ending of the 2nd one is such a CLIFF HANGER!! i dont know why everybody else loved Wolf Tower so much although i guess some parts are pretty interesting and i like the way tanith lee writes! and my sister totally agrees.

Summary: More Beautiful than Reality
Review: I am writing this review because I was reading other readers' reviews, and realizing that too many of them had given away important surprising aspects of the book. When I read Wolf Tower, I did so without having any idea what the book was about, save for the vague summary on the back cover. I know you have probably already read the editor review that gives away the entire story, but I hope not.

Claidi lives in the House, an isolated oasis in the middle of what House residents call the Waste: a place of horrors where the profaners of sacred rituals are sent into exile. Claidi believes the dreadful tales of the Waste, and goes on suffering as a servant to Lady Jade Leaf in the House... until a balloon crashes in the House garden, and the balloon's occupant is put on trial. Then Claidi is swept into an adventure of her own, alongside Nemian, the golden stranger from the balloon. She comes to discover that the Waste is not at all what she has been led to believe, most things aren't what they seem, and that following her heart is, in the long run, going to make her happier than doing what her better judgement tells her is right.

I am a big fan of Tanith Lee, and have become even more so after reading Wolf Tower. The characters and places come alive, and hold more clarity than even some things in life. If you choose not to read this book, then you are truly missing a wonderful and beautiful tale. If you do decide to read it, then be prepared for a delightful, humorous, and sometimes poignant look into the life of Claidi, an ordinary girl on an extraordinary adventure.

Summary: I'm sorry
Review: I feel guilty about rating books so low, but i found no pleasure in this book at all. The only reason i finished it was to make sure it didn't get better and I missed it. Perhaps it's because I'm older (17) or because I'm more into a harder-core sci-fi/fantasy, but I found this book unoriginal and predictable. Perhaps it was because of the way the book was written, beign read as though it was a diary of a young girl, but the writing style was very elementary and reading about the secret crushes of a poorly developed character got very old quickly.

There was little actual action and when there was something happening it was over in a paragraph or two. Characters (especially the main character) were underdeveloped, and the plot was uncomfortably random and yet incredibly predictable. The story line kept falling into annoying cliche situations.

I can't say I'd recommend this book. However, if you are interested in books like this I highly suggest Tamora Pierce. I would definately recommend Tamora Pierce. And Jane Yolen.

Summary: A great start...
Review: I loved this book. Claidi, the main character, is fun and exciting if occasionally somewhat clueless. Filled with adventure and sarcasm, friends and enemies, and lots more. Great read. Be sure also to read books 2 and 3, Wolf Star and Wolf Queen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Top 10 on my list
Review: I never read Tanith Lee until I went to the Library. Wolf Tower was
the first book I read. I love it so much. As soon as I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. I love the book because I love having girl heros, and this girl Claidi was one of the best. Not everyone should read it. Only the peaple who love adventure and LOVE fantasy. I also love the way she tried to do the right thing and burn the rules. I definatlly recomend this book to other people.
