Review: My feelings about the book is that it was so good and I loved it. The way the author ended a chapter was so mysterious that you had move on to another chapter. I would definetly encourage others to read it. I give the book five stars. Annemarie was such a brave young girl. She wanted to help with everything. Lois Lowery did a great job. I really enjoyed reading this at Davidson Elementry.

Review: I think the book is really great. I especially like the way Lois Lowry leaves the read hanging at the end of each chapter. It is very hard to put the book down. The characters in the book are so exciting. Annamarie is just the kid that everyone wants to be. Her bravery was shown in so many scenes. My favorite character is Kirsti. She is truly the worrisome little sister. If you love a book filled with suspense and adventure, you'll love this one. I give it 5 stars. Read it! You'll enjoy it!
