Summary: Brad and Johnny's Web
Review: Number the Stars is a fictional book based on true events. Set in Denmark in 1939, it gives an account of the fears and anxieties of the Danish people both Jewish and non-Jewish during the German occupation. As the reins of terror tighten around the Jewish people, their non-Jewish friends risk all to hide and protect them.
This book made us want to continue reading it. What had happened to Lise? What was in the mysterious package Anne Marie risk her life to carry? How did Peter fit into the picture and why did he stay gone so much? These were many of the questions we wanted to answer.
A story of courage, perseverance, and faith, It leaves one with a good feeling. In the mist of tragedy, some of humankinds most noble traits come to the surface. Explicit details are left unsaid, a good thing for the young reader. We both enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the holocaust or World War II.

Review: I feel good about this book. I think it is a good book & you should try to tell people to read it. I think Louis Lowery did a wonderful job.She should come out with "Number the Stars 2". I liked this book because a little girl had to be brave, and she had to save her friend's life. She always looked on the bright side. I have 2 favorite parts. My first favorite part was when Kirsti tried to put the cat's head in the water bowl. My other favorite part is when Annamarie ran through the woods and saw the german people. If I had to grade this book on a scale of 1 star-5 stars,I would give it 5 stars.
