Summary: Great for Anne Frank unit.
Review: This is a great book to give another view of the atrocities that occurred against the Jewish people in WW II. Add this novel to a reading list during the Anne Frank unit for a support piece to the diary. Get several copies as you'll have trouble keeping this one on the shelf. Parents should read these books to discuss with children as well.

Summary: Excellent World War Two book
Review: I was assigned to read this book in school, but this book was awesome. I love books about the American Civil War, and Now I love WWII books. Boy, those Nazis are really stupid. I mean, they couldn't find the Jews in the boat, or why their dogs were not smelling anything.

Summary: One of the Best Books I've Ever Read
Review: My favorite part was when the Nazi soldiers catch Ellen and Annemarie running down the sidewalk. They were racing when they are stopped and the soldiers tell them not to run any more. Ellen was frightened because she's Jewish. This story is about bravery and courage, and a fight for freedom.

Summary: It makes you want to keep reading!!!
Review: Number The Stars by Lois Lowry is an all around downright excellent book. You learn how AnneMarie,a young girl in Denmark during World War Two, finds her feet and stands up to what's right. In the end, AnneMarie must do something she's never done before, and there's no backing out. You learn about the trauma of the War, and the strength that you can find by believing in yourself.
