Review: As I read this book with my daughter, it made it much easier for her to understand the atrosities that are currently going on in Europe. It's very difficult to understand and empathsize with those enduring such hardships worlds away. This novel helps young ones personalize and enternalize what their peers in Europe might be enduring.

Review: I think other students would enjoy Number the Stars because it is an interesting book of courage and danger. The characters were very detailed and it was written so that you could see the characters in that time period. This book is also great becase it teaches you about a subject that you won't learn much about in school. The setting was also a factor in the realisticness of this book. You could probably make anyone believe anything with this book.

Review: I liked the book because, even though the characters didn't seem realthe book was exciting. It makes you feel what the characters are feeling. It also shows just how brave one little girl can be. This little girl cares so much about her friend she's willing to risk her life for her. To find out how she does it you have to read the book yourself.

Review: This book puts WW2 into great words. It tells about some of the things that really did go on in WW2. It had great details to make you think that you were really there in WW2. The characters were real adventurious people. Another reason I liked this book is because it was a lot of different types of stories put together: adventure,scary,happy,sad,ect... If you have time I would recommend this book to you. Even if you don't have time you could still read it because it is such a great book that you can't put it down and then it could take you 3 hours to read at the most!

Review: I liked this book. It had kids almost my age so I could relate to Annemarie and Ellen better. It helped me understand the Holocaust better. It had a lot of mysterious things in it. The author doesn`t reveal everything at the beginning.

Review: I recommend this book to anyone that likes danger and adventure. I like this book because the characters were interesting and seemed realistic. The story and places made me think I was there. It was one of the greatest books I've ever read. This book makes you realize how dangerous people were then.

Review: I thought the book was good. It taught me alot about WWII. I hardly knew anything about WWII.I liked the part where the German soldiers stopped Anniemarie in the woods. I think everyone should read the book to know about the past. I think they should come out with a movie.
