Review: I think Number the Stars is a great book For 9-12 year olds. I read it all the time. I got it when I was 9 (I'm 10 now) and have read it a whole lot and still find it very suspencful. My 12 year old brother did it for a book report.

Review: Number The Stars has been one of my favorite books I've ever read. I read this in 4th grade for my Accelerated Reader Program. Annemarie struggles to try to save her family. She thinks about her family before herself. This may be more of a girl book than a boy book. I loved it!

Review: I thought this book was very touching, interesting and good. I liked it alot because it shows great bravery of a little girl (like myself) and that they can help with very important things. I read it to my little siblings and they liked it a whole lot to. I also liked it that the two girls were such good friends that they didn't care even if they were endangering there lives, as long as they saved one another. All in all this book was great and I recomend it to anyone!

Review: I love this book! My favorite book. Even though the cover is very ugly, the book is so great! It's about this girl who helps her friend's family hide from the officers and troops so they won't die! My heart broke, and my heart filled with joy!

Summary: Read this Book
Review: There are only two books that can relate the story of the Holocaust. The Diary of Anne Frank, and Number the Stars. I first read the book in sixth grade, and it has been a favorite of mine ever since. The story is so sad, yet happy at the same time. Annemarie refuses to be negative about the situation in her country and the danger her best friend may be in. I nearly cried when I read the story. It opened my eyes to the horror of Nazism, and made me realize that the war was not just a fight to destroy Hitler, but also to destroy prejudice.

Review: This is a good book for ages 9-14. It takes place during World war 2. A girl and her family must hide a Jewish family from the Germans. An exciting book that I could not put down!

Summary: A wonderful introduction to generally difficult material
Review: Introducing children to the study of the Holocaust can be a difficult task, but Lois Lowry's book lends itself as a perfect way to do this. The story's happy ending does not diminish the fact that it teaches many of the important lessons young children can gain from the study of the Holocaust. It is a book that will prepare young readers to read books such as The Diary of Anne Frank and others in the future.

Review: I read this book in my class and it was very good! The Danes were so brave-and it taught me about the Holocaust. It really got me thinking and it made me smile-and cry. If you like good writing...buy this!

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It described what the jews and their friends were going through at the time. I think that it has a lot of information to give for people that want to know more about the subjet, and read a very good book at the same time. I would recomned this book to anyone above the age of 9.
