Summary: Magician is a great fantasy/adventure story.
Review: I have read most of Raymond E. Feist books, and though they are a bit old for me, (I am twelve) I still enjoy them and understand them. Magician has a good storyline, with lots of adventure and action. I admire the author's imagination, and I love the characters. I particularly like Jimmy the hand, who features in the next book (Silverthorn). It has a good balance of emotions- love, greif, frustration, and humour. I love Raymond E. Feist's books, and Magician is dear to my heart. I would recommend it to any adult and teenager. My only complaint is that his books are a bit too grim at times.

Summary: A Marvelous Book ! worth buying!
Review: I must say that this book is the first fantasy genre novel I have ever read.Its language structures and words are simple to understand.The story is awesome and I totally hooked to it for weeks as the story of the characters were so lively and real....Pug ,Tomas and Carline many more.I salute Raymond E. feist for his creativity and I am going to be his fan for a long time and going to collect all the Ritfwar novels. Is there any big difference between the two part series of Magician and the single one? The one I just finished reading was the reviewed edition published in 1997 and some 16000 words were ommited. :)

Summary: I envy thee who are reading it for ye first time
Review: I This summer I read the full version of Magician. It was like on helluva dinner; rich, exciting, suprising... The book spans over the 10 years the riftwar takes place between the two worlds Midkemia (protagonist) and Kelewan (antagonist). The only, but very small, drawback I can see in reading the full version of Magician is the length of the two sequels. "The brick" simply spoiled me with the concept of "never-ending" stories. ;-

Summary: A classic start to a great universe.
Review: In a couple of words; this story is fantastic! Raymond Feist surly knows how to construct a story which is both intriging, moving and intense with action and suspence. Every single character has a life of there own, no character is second hand, all with there own dept and force.I loved it to the very end and hope to read the rest of the books which follow on from this. It should be magnificant. It is amazing how Feist has created a world with a long and eventful history so unique to all other books written as fantasy. It is like Lord Of The Rings, but we get much more adventure and less exposition and endless dialogues, but I'm not saying that in LOTR that is bad! Those who haven't read it, should! for it is a thrill!

Review: Magician (Especially Feist's preferred addition) is a masterpiece of fantasy. The characters, plots and rich descriptions of Midkemia draw the reader in from page one, and never lets you go until the end, no matter how many times you read it. With this book and with the ones that followed, Feist places himself in the elite group of fantasy/sci-fi writer's whose works are nothing short of masterpieces. Buy it and read it, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: It's one worth reading
Review: One of the best novels I've read in a long time. It takes you into the life of Pug, an ordinary orphan from Crydee, and shows how he will make a difference in the fate of two worlds. I almost always read Sci-Fi, being engulfed in the multiple plot lines an so on, and ignoring all fantasy thinking it to be too dull for me. This book changes everything. And I would recommend it to anyone.

Review: Raymond E. Feist's book Magician is the best fantasy book I've read. I've read every book Feist wrote, and this one is the first and the best. This is a book you can read over and over and over again and after reading it you can't wait to read the next book. I give this bok 10/10
