Rating: Summary: I'll keep this short and sweet Review: This was the best, most original book I've read all year. No one has ever written a book like this, and I was completely engrossed.

Rating: Summary: Aren't we all multiples? Review: Wow, of all the wild character rides in literature, this could possibly be the strangest and the most inventive. Wherever Matt Ruff got this idea, it is inspired. And he has pulled off this stunt with amazing clarity and aplomb. To take multiple personalities in two individuals, sketch them out, and have them interact in absolutely convincing ways - that is an accomplishment. I found myself not only caught up in the characters' inticacies and internal balancing acts, but I actually identified with the struggle of balancing my own disparate personality urges. Ruff has truly gootten into the heads of these complex individuals, and he sure got inside mine as well. My hat is off to the easy flow, the deft handling, and even the braoader message of this completely engaging novel.
