Summary: wonderfully great
Review: I was first read this book when I was in elementery school by my brother who was in college. He did voices for all the characters and really made it come alive I read it later to myself and loved it i have been searching for a copy of it for about 7 or 8 years. If anyone knows where I can find one please let me know! I loved the story and so does my brother!

Summary: Santa's Twin is much better
Review: I've read all of Koontz work and disagree with most of the other reviewers on this site. This is not the greatest of Koontz writing. I wouldn't even put it anywhere up the top of the pile. Santa's Twin is a much better children's book than this one. I found this book boring compared to that action packed thirller. Definately buy Santa's Twin, it is even previewed in the adults novel Mr. Murder.

In this book toys which are alive are saddened at the death of their creator. They must find their new good toymaster before the evil toys escape their basement prison and take over the toy world. They want to go to children's homes to cause nothing but misery. The Oddkins (good toys) must get to the toymaster first.

I just found this book too old style and unmodern. Koontz is one of the greatest writers out there but this is not one of his greatest books.

Summary: completely loved it
Review: My art teacher-Ms. Greene, bought it for me for helping her in fifth grade-it meant alot to me, and I really liked it. There's suspense, and good and evil-an immortal tale that could be enjoyed by anyone of all ages-take it from me, I'm 17-age of cynics. Koontz's use of language makes the story real-so much, that my sister is still scared of it. Thank you Ms. Greene! You have given me a treasure!

Summary: The Best Story of The Year
Review: Stupendious! That ia what I think of The Oddkins. When I was in the 3rd grade my teacher read it to my class. I thought it was so good! Ever since then I've been trying to find one to buy. I remember at the time some of the parts were a little scary, but now I just think the book is great. If you have not read it, I highly reccomend readind The Oddkins.
