Review: Let me just start by saying that I hate what Kevin Anderson brings to the Star Wars Universe. I read all of these clips and reviews that praise him and place him just behind Zahn as the master of the Star Wars universe. These reviews must be because of the quantity of novels he has written not the quality. Stackpole, Allston, and Perry are much better than Anderson. If you want to read the Jedi Academy Trilogy the way it should ahve been told, read Stackpole's I,Jedi. Whole story, one book instead of three. Anyway, after all of this whining about Anderson, this was a very good Star Wars book. This is, by far, the best Anderson book I have read. The plot is good and the storyline progresses rapidly. It really is a page turner. Maybe Anderson is at his best when he is not writing a series or trilogy.

Summary: Not another super weapon!
Review: This book had it's moments but overall was not what I have come to expect from a Star Wars novel. It was cool with that old Imperial scientist but was a little far fetched when he was executed more than once. Another death star. Come on, can't you think of your own ideas? It would have been better if the death star, that dominated most of the book, would fire at least once! The space battle at the end was sort of unrealistic. At least he tried, we should thank him for that. His trilogy Jedi Academy was much better. I would rent this book from the library if you want to read it, otherwise, I would stay away and read a book worthy of your time!

Review: Hey you do have to give credit to Anderson he did try. Some of the parts were real good, but did Madine have to die? It was great that Castilla got out of the picture, I didn't like her at all. All in all it was pretty good, but it did have its holes in the story line.

Review: I think this book is a good novel and Kevin J. Anderson is a really good author and deserves a little more credit for his hard work on this book.It has a great story line and lots fo action. My favorite part is the battle of the Banthas and when Luke "meets up with" the bantha in the Empire Strikes Back. You know, he chopped it's arm off. Anderson is a great author and needs more credit for his work.

Summary: It's OK but has some flaws
Review: This book is entertaining but lacks the great fetures in other Starwars books, like the ones from Zahn, Stackpole and Allston. The Superweapon theme is already boring and the book lacks really good starship battles. But one of the good things is that a big New Republic official finally bites the dust! It is a good read but you can spend your money in a much better Starwars book.

Summary: The Empire strikes back...., again. Hurray!
Review: I am an enormous Empire fan, I have a Stardestroyer scale model in my livingroom, TIE-fighters on my desk, and I hum the Imperial march when doing the disches. That is probably the reason why I found this book such a great read, okay, it's not exactly worth a nobelprice for literature, but it's fun. To be more precise, once I picked it up, I could'nt put it down again. But, despite all that, I do have some problems with this novel. For one thing, Anderson managed to put yet ANOTHER superweapon in one of his stories. Aditionally, some events are somwhat hard to believe (Hutt crimelords building a Death Star?) and there are some somewhat dissapointing anti-climaxes (the Hutt Death Star goes down as easy as if it was a TIE-fighter!). But my main problem is that all the events almost seem to take place whitin a matter of hours or so. That could be due to the fact that I just kept on reading and reading and reading, but sometimes I started to think that I missed the part in which Daala said: 'hurry up Pellaeon, if we're lucky, we can destroy the Republic before dinnertime!'. But for the rest, a good read and lots of fun.

Summary: A great Star Wars book
Review: Darksaber was one of the best Star Wars books ever writen. Anderson keeps it moving along at a swift pace, it is one of the fastest paced Star Wars books there is. I loved the charecters of Lemelisk, Durga, Daala, and Anderson did a good job with Zahn's Pellaeon. I don't like Callista much, but that's really Hambly's fault. Oh well, had to include her somehow. The concluding battle of Yavin was probably the best space battle written into a star wars book ever, even better than Stackpole's books. All in all, a great read.

Review: I loved this book, and I would recommend it for any Star Wars fan. Lots of action, and the Callista/Luke relationship was well handled. Well done!

Review: This book is one of my fave star wars books. I may be a girl,but i still like them. What i want is more Callista. I onley just got The eye. Whoever does not like this book is mad. I want to know when she gets back.She dont come back soon i know that.If she can touch the darkside,use her lightsaber then why not beable to use the light side. I think the story line is great. I liked it when the same Wampa attacked Luke. All i want for this christmas is some more Star Wars books.

Review: Kevin J Anderson provides readers with classic Star Wars stories. It stays away from far out unbelievable plagues, clones, and ghosts which do not belong in Star Wars. Instead it returns to warriors, smugglers, and the Empire.
