Summary: This book was very well written
Review: I thought this book was spectacular because it gave many different views. The reader could feel like the Imperial or the Rebel depending on the chapter. I think it ranks near the Jedi Academy Trilogy

Summary: This book was very good.
Review: This book was one of the best Star Wars books I've read. I love Kevin J. Anderson's books. I liked how Admiral Dalla took over the Empire's fleet. The bad part was the new Death Star was like the 6th superweapon in 12 years. It's getting kind of boring

Summary: Not very good
Review: This is not a good star wars book, I think the author of thisbook is really bad at what he does. You should read THE NEW REBELLIONit is much, much better!

Summary: Love this book!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I had a very hard time putting it down. I am waiting anxiously to see how Callista and luke are reunited. Hats off to Anderson

Summary: You people make it sound like the Best ...IT IS NOT
Review: This is bye far the WORST Star Wars book I have ever read!! For one thing I'm not a Anderson fan,and the only good book he has really made is The Illuistrated Star Wars Universe. I totally agree with the one guy who said that the death star thing is old!!People please don't buy this book!!!

Summary: disapointing
Review: This book has a sort of darkness to it. The death star thing is really getting old! Somebody should think of newer ideas and lay off the death star thin

Summary: Probably Anderson's best SW work.
Review: Well, this was interesting. Anderson is definately getting better, as this represents a marked improvement over his Jedi Academy trilogy, but he's still nowhere near the likes of Zahn, MacBride-Allen, or Stackpole. The single biggest problem with this book is that none of the storylines mesh with each other. They all seem to run seperately of each other, and he seems to actually eschew chances of bringing them together. The three main plotlines are: 1)Admiral Daala and Captain Pellaeon try to band the Imperial remains together as a true force. 2)An evil Hutt tries to build his own Death Star. (which is where the book gets its title) And 3)Luke and Callista go on a pilgrimage to try to regain her Force powers. For the most part, the book is good. It's just if you stop to think afterwards, you start to realize some of the plot lapses in it. There are also several glaring continuity errors which might bother true fans. It's definately worth picking up in paperback, especially since it'

Summary: This is the BEST Star Wars book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I loved this Star Wars book. It was very exciting and had a lot of suspense filled in the story. But I got a little confused with the character's names. I wish Kevin J. Anderson made this story into a triligy so you could found out what happened to Callista. I was very surprised when I found out that Callista escaped the Knight Hammer. But I am still wondering if she can use her Jedi powers. Does anyone know if there is a sequel to this book?

Summary: Wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL!
Review: "Darksaber" is by far the best Star Wars book I have read. Kevin Anderson keeps you in suspence through-outthe untire book. He brings back many of the familiar characters we all got to know and love in the Star Wars Trilogy. He also adds many new lovable heros and heroins. Many new enemies bring life to the small, but threatening, remaining "dark side" of the force. With the Hutts building superweapons and the Empire trying to rebuild their forces, you never know when the first shot will be fired. You won't know who will win till the battle is over. If you like the Star Wars movies or books, even if you don't, you will love Kevin J. Andersons, "Star Wars: Darksaber". Read it today!

Summary: kevin should have lengthened it into a trilogy!
Review: I thought it was a good book, but it was all this excitement packed into one book. If Kevin would have made it into a trilogy, it would have turned out better. I also think it was a good thing to let a semi-main character die for once (even though I was sorry to see that person go). Darksaber was my 25th Star Wars book, and I can't wait to see if Kevin comes out with new books on the jedi academy (with Jacen and Jaina).
