Summary: Two thumbs waaaaaaay down
Review: This is the worst Star Wars book ever. The next time KJA writes a book(hopefully never) he should keep in mind that A. Killing every minor character doest't make the book interesting, B. An exiting plot DOES matter, and C. Boring and stupid characters don't help the book that much. My family is having a yard sale this weekend, and you can bet that this book will be there.

Summary: Daala kicks back but unfortunatly loses
Review: I am a big fan of Admiral Daala and was glad to see she came back from the Jedi Academy in one piece. However when I was reading it I felt increasingly distressed as the battle of Yavin went on and the ridiculous things the Jedi did, I mean throughing 17 Stardestroyers out of the system and miraculously dis abling the Knight Hammer. The Wampa chapter was good as was the lead up to the Imperial re amergance. A good book and I hope it won't be the end of Daala. I think the Jedi's power should be curbed.........8/ 10

Summary: Darksaber is a great book.
Review: Darksaber is a great book.I read it in a couple days. The only drawback is that the thing is 399 pages.Darksaber was a great idea for a name. Showing Bevel Lemelisk after the first Death Star was destroyed was a great idea.Durga the Hutt was a great character, heck, they were all great characters. It was pure genius when Luke and Callista were on Dagobah.Anyone who calls themselves a Star Wars fa n needs to read this.

Summary: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN!!!!!!!!
Review: Kevin Anderson is my favorite STAR WARS author, and this book beat the Jedi Academy Trilogy. Admiral Daala,(the best STAR WARS charecter of all time), is much more branched out. The sequel, Planet of Twilight, isn't as good.

Summary: Story Lines couldn't get much worse
Review: .The relationship between Qwi and Wedge--simply unbelievable. And what-about killing off Crix Madine? I mean he was and will always be a great character He didn't derserve to die on the blob of blubber's superweapon. Or the incredible dying man? Okay the Emperor was cruel but SEVEN TIMES? I don't think so. The best Star Wars novels were written by Stackpole and Allston. Other series like the Grand Admiral Thrawn Series were good but this was just down right pathetic. END

Summary: Anderson does it again!
Review: I thought Darksaber was an excellent book (of course, it definently beats the book before it, Children of the Jedi). The plot was very good. I liked Durga the Hutt, who is one of the two major antagonists in the story. The setting of Nal Hutta during the meeting between Leia and Durga was very descriptive. One bad part was Callista, who is still trying to get her Jedi powers back, but the wampa attack was cool. Bevel Lemelisk is another intriguing character. If I were to recommend a Star Wars book not in a trilogy to anyone, this would be it.

Summary: People who think that KJA stinks are morons
Review: While I disliked how KJA was killing off some favorite charectars, or how he was once again returning to the old death star topic, I'll have to say I resent the coments like "this was a bad as the Jedi Academy Trilogy." Those books were a masterpiece, and if you don't like them, you shouldn't even read Star Wars. As for the coments on the names of the superweapons, what would you have liked him to name them. That Evil Sphere idea made me crack up. The Sun Destroyer, the Sun Killer, the Sun-blower-upper. For crying out loud, who gives what he names his superweapons? Don't let the morons in the begginning change your opinion of Kevin J. Anderson. They were probably just looking for an excuse to insult the book. Oh, and by the way, I'm glad he got rid of Castilla. I hated that charectar. Luke's image has already changed from an eager young kid to a smart, quiet, peaceful man, despite becoming more dangerous. Becoming a family man would probably make me burn *Children of the Jedi.*

Summary: Listen to Me!!
Review: Ok. You have read the rest of the reviews so you know the mixed feelings people have about this book. Well I can tell you the bottom line right now. KJA does NOT know how to right a Star Wars novel. The man needs to work more on developing a fresh idea, not taking off ideas from others. This book was just as bad as his Jedi Academy trilogy. The characters are shallow, the plot is unthinkable, and the ideas are simply replays of his past books. I know that everyone has already said that this is a book with repeated ideas, but it is impossible to ignore. If there ever was a book that I would tell people not to buy THIS IS IT!

Summary: The dumbest, most poorly written SW book of all time!!!!
Review: This was by far the worst Star Wars novel I've ever read--no, the worst book I've ever read!!! What is Anderson trying to do to our Star Wars characters!!! His plot is as bad as his trilogy, I mean come on!!! Some of the things in that book are completely unfathomable!!! There is no way the Empire could be that stupid! I mean come on!!! There were at least 400 impreials there when those stupid jedi students lit their lightsabers!! Not to mention the ever-so winey Callista!!! What's with her?

Summary: Face it, this novel just plain stinks
Review: When KJ Anderson took over from Timothy Zahn for his Jedi Academy trilogy, I was not impressed. The books were readable, and I liked Kyp Duron, but Anderson obviously had no idea on what the Star Wars universe was like. Now, with this follow up, he sinks to new levels of stupidity. Now I usually admire multiple plotlines, but these had nothing to do with each other, and all three were boring. Admiral Daala is still the most pathetic, incompitent villian ever (how the hell she inspired Pellaeon to join her remains a mystery)and if she manages to crash, smash, blow up or otherwise total another star destroyer, I transform into a Star Wars character and kill her myself. Now I respect every one has their opinions, but face it KJ Anderson has no reason to keep writing bad books for the Star Wars universe, and Bantam should only hire writers who know what they're doing. PS: I'm glad he moved on the X-Files novels - a series as awful as this book is and therefore worthy of his (limited) talents.
