Rating: Summary: Anderson is a great Star Wars Writer Review: Kevin J. Anderson is a tremendous writer. I have read the Jedi Academy Trilogy and was very upset. He does not consider the amount of time spent in hyperspace. One second they are at Coruscant the next on a far off planet, sometimes it takes hours to days to get to these places. Other than that i love his work and will continue reading his work
Rating: Summary: Tar and feather Kevin J Anderson! Review: This story sucked. Plain and simple. How many more Death Stars can we have? This is the fourth one! Killing everyone doesn't make a story good by any means. Crix Madine was a good character that could have gone far. Think of a romance between him and Trandia (was that her name?). How many more times are we going to resurrect Callista? Kill 'er or leave her alive, nothing in between. The characters are so poorly portrayed. I read the first 5 pages of Heir to the Empire and I had more story, plot and excitement! Let's hope he doesn't make a trilogy! But everyone knows what that means! 2 more deathstars! WOO! Stick to YJK KJA. Then you can resurrect whoever you want, kill anyone you want, and dismember Tenel Ka as many times as you want.
Rating: Summary: Has the dilution of the Star Wars legacy begun? Review: This was an awful book by the alleged "Dean of the Star Wars Academy". KJA is the ringmaster of the new Star Wars novelization push, so we can only assume the worst if this is the kind of drivel that he himself puts out. This book was weak on a number of levels but the most egregious was the asinine plot it presented. Example: uhh, did he ever stop to think about how ludicrous the "Hutt super weapon" was? An orbiting laser gun that is capable of destroying planets?? Talk about ripping off old ideas. Also just how hard would it be to destroy this weapon before it could fire? Uh Kevin... next time, draw out the plot outline for your novel after the effects of last night's Tequila have worn off...
Rating: Summary: This book rocks!! Review: This book was fantastic! Keven J. Andreson did a terrific job of writing this book. The only thing that I didn't like was when Luke went to Hoth. That was dumb, but this was a great book that all Star Wars fans must read. This book was a good story that KJA wrote. All Star Wars fans must read Darksaber.
Rating: Summary: what the? Review: Okay this book was okay, but now thinking back on it this book sucked, flat out. When Krix was killed i almost burned the thing, but i waited untill i finneshed. Another thing Durga the Hutt was not that stupid, this book made him look like an idiot. I have three words PLOT DOES MATTER!!
Rating: Summary: one of the best Review: Darksaber was one of the best Star Wars books ever. When I was reading it I thought I was watching it on screen, all the charecters talk the same and have the same attitude. The only flaw is that this book had to be part of the Callista triology (shudder)and mr. Anderson, you can sure write a Star Wars book
Rating: Summary: The best star wars book ever written!! Review: This is a truly wonderful book. Anyone who likes starwars should read it. It's great!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: QUITE GOOD Review: I thought the book was very good espercially the way in witch admral darla killed of the warlord's.The main thing against the book is that there are becoming to many star wars book's and so there are no new sci fi writers evreyone is just bases theres on star war's
Rating: Summary: Luke searches for an answer to his love's dilema. Review: This was a fabulous book by Anderson. I have read other novels by him and I must admit that this was just as good as the others if not better. The struggle with Callista's encounter with the Dark side was riveting and very well written. I would recomend this book to any SW fan.
Rating: Summary: THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH KEVIN J. ANDERSON Review: I loved this book for several reasons, but mostly because it was a more enjoyable continuation of Children of The Jedi. I especially loved the incorporation of the Hutts in this book along with a bit of incite on some of the Emperors torture methods. This is a definant hit for K.J.A!
