Rating: Summary: great action and adventure, keeps you wondering what's next! Review: The story is great and the action and adventure keeps going. The villians are great. The wampa attack was surely one of the best parts!
Rating: Summary: Not only bad, but pointless Review: KJA has written some good stuff, but this is certainly not among them. What is this, the 4th Deathstar? And why on earth kill off a character for absolutely no reason at all, as he goes after a "superweapon" that wouldn't even work in the first place? The book early on showed some promise, but the characters were so insipidly stupid and the plot so obviously hackneyed that it was a chore to finish it out. And I can't say that I'm particularly glad I went to the trouble to finish it, either! Despite numerous 5-star ratings noted below, borrow the book instead of buying it, and don't get your hopes up
Rating: Summary: Great, Just Great...I couldn't put it down Review: I started reading the book and I just couldn't put it down...I read it in one day. Around every corner...action, action, action. I hated when Gen. Madine was killed, but that was the only prob. that I had with it...I is my favorite star wars book, and I am a definite fanatic. I really reccomend that you read this book...you won't be able to put it down either!
Rating: Summary: This book was terrific Review: KA has an uncanny talent for continuing the Star Wars story. The plot was wonderful and entertaining with several things happening at once. I enjoyed seeing Pellaeon still alive and causing trouble. I did have a problem with the treatment of Crix Madine, I did not like the ending. The Callista storyline also made me mad, but then again it leaves things open. The use of the Jedi Academy students was wonderful. Even if you haven't read the Academy series anderson makes you feel like you know the characters. The only other problem was the wasteful Hoth scene that had no point other than location placement. This is a terrific book with only minor flaws that can be overlooked because the book is so good.
Rating: Summary: Good book, could be better though. Review: Darksaber was a fairly good book. i have to say I've read it about three times, but the stuff with Daalah and everything, I usually skip over it just cause it makes no sence. I don't know what grade leval this book is, probably above mine ( 6th ) but i think he could have made it a little more interesting. Also, with Callista dying or going away, jeeze can't Luke haved somebody for a change?
Rating: Summary: It's okay but K.J.A did a better job with the trilogy!! Review: What went wrong I don't know but how could he leave Chewbacca out of the action. Did he go on vacation during the middle of the book. What happen to the characters personalities. What's up with Han diing straigh into ties.Whan will tht pathetic Admiral Daala die or be put to scrubbing the ship deck. She lost a Super Star Destroyer that caused pratically no damage. However this book did have some good points lots of sction and you get to read about the Jedi Knights in action. You also find out a cool method the Emperor used to punish those who fail. And some info on Hutts
Rating: Summary: Doesn't live up to rumours Review: All my pals raved about Darksaber. Fantastic! they said. I expected Durga to, well, know what he's doing. That aside, Daala and Callista must both die!!! How many times will they live when they're supposed to die? Oh yeah, and the superweapon is a bit old by now.
Rating: Summary: This book was the best book i've ever read! Review: This book amazed me sice I started reading it. I loved the story so much, I stayed up every night until three o' clock. I just couldn't put it down. I recomend reading the Jedi Academy Trillogy before reading this book, because you will have a beter understanding about the backgrownd of the characters. Darksaber is the next chapter of the Jedi Academy Trillogy.
Rating: Summary: Kinda too mushy Review: The book was kinda cool, but way too mushy. Anyway, whenever Luke gets a girl, she either dies or leaves him.
Rating: Summary: Kevin does it again Review: Kevin J. Anderson did wonderfully writing this story. I haven't found a book of his yet that I haven't enjoyed. His X-files books are wonderful. In this book he developed the characters and the plot magnificently.
