Summary: Ruin Mist Chronicles One of the Best
Review: "Kingdom Alliance" is the third volume in the "Ruin Mist Chronicles" series by Robert Stanek. It continues the story which was begun in "Keeper Martin's Tale". The last of the elvish survivors have reached the kingdoms. They must now work to convince the king of a land where elves are hated and magic is forbidden. The language is at times beautiful but mostly the details are just enough to imagine what's happening not too much you start feeling like the uathor is turning over rocks and describing them.

I would agree with previous reviewers who have said the writing is on par with Terry Brooks, David Eddings and Raymond Feist. I would add it is in some ways better and in some ways not better. The author does a good job of weaving the story lines, the story moves along quickly and with interesting events, and much happens in just about every chapter. One thing I know, I am looking forwad to seeing how Stanek continues this series with "Fields of Honor" and "Mark of the Dragon". A gripping and fascinating story so far, and one that I highly recommend to all fans of fantasy. Buy this book!

Summary: Fascinating!
Review: A wonderful book, second in the annual List of the National Fantasy & Horror Club of Bulgaria. Bold, brilliant, entertaining...

Summary: Can't wait to read the rest of the series!
Review: After a friend told me this is one of the best books he'd ever read I had high hopes and fortunatelly, it holds true. I have read many other fantasy books/series from many different authors, but none have yet to touch me like Robert Stanek has. There's truely something special about the world he has richly created, and something truely original with the way in which he feeds different information and details to us throughout the book.

Summary: An incredible follow-up
Review: After years of peace in the kingdoms, the entire world begins to decend into chaos. In the south, a king breaks a centuries old alliance and attacks another kingdom. Across the sea, the elves of the west march on the cities of the elves of the east, bringing war. In the north, the bandit kings are attacking. Like the others, Kingdom Alliance is fast-paced, well-written and well-detailed. Well worth the time and very satisfying. Fantasy readers owe it to themselves to give "Ruin Mist Chronicles" a look.

Summary: Another great ride!
Review: As others had said Kingdom Alliance is the true seqle to Keeper Martin's Tale. Not many authors can write a sequel to a fantasy novel and have it match its first volume with flying colors! Robert Stanek is the first author that I have read that was able to accomplish this. I read this book in less time than it took me to read Keeper Martin's Tale. It was great, if not much better than the first. I highly reccomend if you are a fantasy lover as I am that you check out this series. It's the best I've seen, and most likely the best I will ever see (other than Lord of the Rings). Thank you, Robert, for an incredible series. I reccommend the Ruin Mist Chronicles to anyone who likes fantasy novels.

Summary: SHOULD BE ON EVERY TOP 10 LIST
Review: Borrowed it from a friend, buying it to read again. This is best new fantasy novel I've read since A Song of Fire and Ice. Robert Stanek captured the grandeur of a time that seems both long ago and a place of myth and mystery, especially in words and characters. He created a vividly imagined tale set in medieval times, complete with a riveting cast of characters. Through dark forests, across mountains and countrysides, and harsh wilderness, he guides us on an epic journey of mind, body and soul. I've never looked forward to reading the next volume in a series so much.

Summary: Another Great Story
Review: For those of you you haven't read any of Robert Stanek's work before, STOP NOW! Get a hold of his previous two books in the series, Keeper Martin's Tale, and Elf Queen's Quest. Read them in that order before settling down with Kingdom Alliance...and enjoy!!

Kingdom Alliance continues plot and character developments from the previous novels and not being aware of these points will certainly reduce the reader's enjoyment of Stanek's newest fantasy.

Commited fans of the series will be aware that this novel does for Myrial what Elf Queen's Quest did for Midori - namely provide us with more of her background: her childhood, her life story. After reading this you'll be a big fan of Myrial I'm sure. We get to witness the events that really mould her and make her into the character that she is. Add her to an already great cast, which includes Adrina, Seth, Emel, Vilmos, Valam and Xith, and you know why this series is so great.

The story kicks off several weeks after Keeper Martin's Tale. The ever likeable Emel is making his way back to Imtal, Adrina is off, Vilmos reaches the Mouth of the World. All points in the story that make for facinating reading when we see Emel doubting his abilities and learning something about his deepest, darkest self. Matters are further complicated when the kingdomers come under attack and those they are protecting are gravely wounded.

Summary: One in a million
Review: Good book- just finished it. Keeps up in the tradition of Eye of the World (Robert Jordan) and the Novels of Shannara (Terry Brooks). It isn't cliche, more original than those before it and more like George Martin's excellent A Game of Thrones but written in a more classic style. The character's are cool but need some more structure/development to back them up. Out of all the character's I liked Vilmos, Adrina, Emel and Seth the best. The book has a few cliffhangers and many OH MY GOD moments. Overall it is very descriptive, very gripping and very moving.

This book is one of the few books that reaches out to teenagers and adults alike and blows their minds. I read this book in one weekend because I could not bear the thought of having to put it down and leave the characters behind. It is both a well written book and a powerful story - both elements combine to make this one of the best fantasy novels that I have read in the past six months.

This story has it all - heroes who are totally "human" and who have no idea of the future that awaits them, a prophecy, a great evil, villains and good guys that you cheer for. This is a novel on an epic scale that will not soon be forgotten.

Summary: Well told with good characters
Review: Hats off to Robert Stanek. This book takes you on a grand adventure from Imtal to Quashan and many places in between. It is an amazing work of literature and Stanek developed his fantasy world carefully. Stanek writes more realistically, his writings are very believable so readers if you like 'realistic' fantasy, I suggest you read 'Ruin Mist Chronicles' series. Enjoy!

Summary: My favorite book!
Review: Have you ever read a book you couldn't stop thinking of even after you finished it? This was the first for me. I had to discuss it with friends and I've been telling all my friends about it. I think this is the mark of a great story. I've since gone back to read it three times.
