Summary: this book was a good conclusion to the x-wing series
Review: This story uses Stackpole's imagination for unique surprises. Stackpole used a very creative way to make this story. He brought into the story the characters that made the X-Wing series magnificent and "used" thier "skills" to defeat evil. The reason for 4 stars is that the ending is a little unexpected.

Summary: A nice addition, but not quite top notch
Review: While I enjoyed this book, I have to say that the story as a whole seemed rather overworked. The plot made a few twists and turns, but nothing I found surprising.

My major complaint is the same one I have always had with Mr. Stackpole's X-Wing novels (with the possible exception of _Rogue Squadron_). Every character has a story. With a cast this large it should be easy to develop a new prespective, but Mr. Stackpole insists on staying with Corran and Wedge. Some of the Rogues are nothing more than a name and a call sign. I find this limiting as a reader, espically after Mr. Allston's tour of duty. On a positive note, I must compliment the use of the droids point of view. I was wondering when someone would do that!

If I sound a bit critical, it is because after 4 very good novels in this series I have come to expect more from an author that demonstrates as much talent as Mr. Stackpole.

Summary: Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It continued the X-Wing series where it had left off in Solo Command before The Courtship of Princess Leia and brought the whole section from Rogue Squadron to the Thrawn trilogy. I could never believe that this would be the end. There are too many loose threads. Read the book!!!

Summary: A Great addition to the Xwing Saga
Review: A great book, this is on par with the first 4. It did a wonderful job of staying consistent with Zahn's trilogy. There were plenty of twists to keep things interesting, but I found myself missing Aaron Allston's humor that was so prevalent in Iron Fist and Solo Command. For anyone wondering if the series will continue, I know that X-wing book 9: Starfighters of Adumar by Aaron Allston is due out in August 1999. I look forward to returning the focus to Wraith Squadron.

Summary: Face was right!
Review: When Face Loran presented his hypothesis concerning Isard, I laughed it off along with the Wraiths. But he was right. I loved this book, even though the Rogues are more serious than the Wraiths. Stackpole once again proves himself a master. I loved the scenes with Iella and Mirax, and Whistler and Gate really deserved some spotlight.

Summary: Another great X-Wing book, hopefully not the last!!!!!
Review: Once again, Michael Stackpole writes an excellent addition to the X-Wing series. The plot and characterization were great, and the suspense was good too. I think that it's fitting that "Isard's revenge" was twofold: the clone's revenge against Rogue Squadron and the real Isard's revenge in getting the Lusankya back. (Of course, they both failed miserably, as always). Anyways, thank you Mr. Stackpole. If I could, I would give it ten stars. Once again, hopefully this isn't the last book in the X-Wing series. There are too many possibilities that still exist out there to stop now.

Summary: I hope that they have a lot of Myn Donos in this book
Review: I have read all 7 previous books as they came out. I have not read this book yet but i'm sure it will kick. I hope they have a lot of Myn and Lara-or Gara-or kirney. I was not happy that Wraith squadron was decomissioned. I hope this series goes on with more books. And some more wraith squadron too. I think that Stakpole and Allston are the masters of star wars literature.
