Rating: Summary: Michael at his best! Review: Isard is a mean and crueal person who has every bit of right to be punised severaly.Thats what the rouges do thats what makes the book so intersting!
Rating: Summary: At last! Review: Ysanne Isard, the imperial commander, has appeared on the scene seemingly from out of nowhere. She proposes a alliance, offering to help Wedge rescue his captured comrades from imperial warlord admiral Krennel's sadistic prison camp. But her offer is not without a price. Wedge must lead Rogue Squadron in Isard's deadly struggle against an enemy made in her own image. It's an offer Wedge would love to refuse, for Isard is certain to betray them. But how can they leave their comrades at Krennel's mercy? They can't, even if it means being caught between Krennel's ruthlessness and Isard's treachery.
Rating: Summary: To me only I, Jedi was better Review: I loved the way that this one book tide the First four of the series with I, Jedi. By far this is the best of the X-wing Series to be printed to date. Anyone needing a fix of Star Wars should pick this book up, but only if they read the First four. In fact that is the most enduring feature, you do not have to read books five six and seven to read Eight.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: I think this book was the thing the X-wing series needed , a proper ending to Isard , I knew geting shoot up while during to get away was just not the way she had to go. The book had one thing i didn't like that much was that Michel didn't expand the charcters very much , like it was all just around 4 or so main charcters (I wanted it to have a bit of myn donos in it)he could have done want Allston did by spreading the story out more. I hope the Colonel's defender wings are in the next book becasue i liked to idea of the new imperial ships (better than anyhing else). Also Rogue squadron should be in it as well (and Myn and the lara/gara/kirney thing) Great book
Rating: Summary: Not horrible, but not good Review: The first star wars books that I read were in the x-wing series and I thought that they were all pretty good. After I finished Solo Command I picked up the original trilogy by Timothy Zahn... Wow, his books were so much better than the x-wing series even though they were ok too. But after reading the Thrawn trilogy I can't really give Isard's Revenge that good of a review because to me it just doesn't measure up.
Rating: Summary: Great! One of the Best! Review: I loved this book! Face was right ( maybe he has the Force). The Lusankya returns. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it didn't have enough Thrawn in it. I really liked the way they showed the story from a droind's persective. This was a great book and I hope there are more books in the X-wing series. Keep up the great work Michael A. Stackpole!
Rating: Summary: Good, but not the best Review: Not the best book written by Michael, but still good. The book lacked fun and I kinda miss Aaron's jokes. Maybe too much action. Liked the part about the droids. Still a fine book; can't wait untill the 9th book comes out.
Rating: Summary: exelent! Review: This is a great book! If you liked the original X-wing series, you'll like this to (more of the same) all, almost, of the old rouges are back, and the plot is so twisted, you'll never be able to guess the ending!!!
Rating: Summary: Excellent book, but previous ones are better. Review: Excellent story, awesome action. Incredible book all around. Mr. Stackpole has wrote another fantastic book. His previous X-Wing books were all 5 stars, so this one was a little let down.
Rating: Summary: It was the end to a great series. Review: Isard's Revenge was, in ten words or less, the end to the best Star Wars series ever written. It lacked what the first four books had. While I read the book, something seemed to be missing. The only terrible part is the fact that THE Corran Horn gets shot sown twice in the book. What's up with that!?! And what was with that clone bit?
