Summary: Guardians of peace
Review: Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi are sent to Gala to oversee an election. The queen is slowly dying and feels her son Beju is unfit to rule. Amist rioting in the streets, the feared hill people, bandits, politicians and betrayal in the palace the jedi must maintain the peace. This book picks up where The Hidden Past left us and keeps you hooked threw twist and turn till the final revalation. Its a quick read but highly recommended.

Summary: The Mark Of The Crown
Review: The Mark Of The Crown is a great addition to the Jedi Apprentice series, and as it is one of the first of the series it is not one to be missed. Prince Beju is the heir to his mother's throne, a mother who is dying and weakening day by day. She wants to leave over a legacy for her world, and she fears that her son will darken the throne. He is conspiring a master plan to take over everything, and his own mother, the Queen, is powerless to stop him. Young Obi Wan Kenobi and his Master, Qui Gon Jinn, must help the dying queen and find another who bears the Mark Of The Crown, a sign that detects who the true heir to the throne will be. Thus begins a dangerous journey to find the true heir, while conspiracies and troubles lurk in every corner. I enjoyed this book of the series very much and I think it's one of the best so far.

Summary: In the five favorites
Review: The Mark of the crown is one of my top five favorites. It starts when the rulers of planet of Gala decide to change its goverment. The queen is dying and her son is angry that she shifted the monarch to a republic. So the son runs for one of the canidates. The Jedi, (Qui-gon and his apprentice Obi-wan,) are there to make the elections go smoothly, but the Jedi fear that there is some sort of connection between the hill people who vowed never to come to the capital of Gala and their leader, Elan, might be the true heir to the throne.

Summary: The best!
Review: The Mark of the Crown was really an extrordinary book in the Jedi Apprentice series. The same great characters are back and are on another adventure. The plot kept my attention through the entire book. For all who like the series or are new to it, this is definitely one you'll like!

Summary: Wonderful, Exciting, Another Must Read !!!
Review: The plot is brillant as the other three were.It is exciting and keeps you on your tose till the very end. With Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon thinking the same thoughts but not telling one another is frusterating but I'am shure in the books to come thay will tell each other there feelings. There is one other thing. The book is exlant and the plot is grate but, the most important thing I feel is the relationship and interaction between padwan and master, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Every time thay seem closer to one another the next thing you know thay slip farther away. I hope that in #5 or atleast in the near future thay will have a closer relationship, as padwans and masters are suposed to have with one another and I hope that #5 will come out soon.

Summary: Good story, but not the best so far.
Review: The plot of this book is a little more intricate than the first few books. I like the fact that it keeps you guessing until the very end! You're never quite sure who can be trusted and who can't.

The only real problem I have with this book is that so much time is spent on the plot, it doesn't really give much attention to the growing relationship between Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan - something that I thought was the most endearing part of the first 3 books. It seems that every time the master and padawan form some kind of a bond, it almost disappears when the next book rolls around. It just seemed like they should have showed more growth in their relationship in this book.

One other thing... Why does Obi-Wan lose his light saber in EVERY book? Perhaps the author should explore some different possibilities for the stories.

Summary: mark of the crown (jedi apprentictice, No4)
Review: The star wars book Mark of the crown was in my opinion a absouluetly fantastic book.As the other book's I've read in the Jedi apprentice sereis it out done the last I liked the storyline the wording the different charactes the nemodiens and how the action scenes were as like you were watching the only thing I regret to say that I didn't like was how it kept jumping from Qui gons mission to Obi-wans mision after a while it just got anoying but as any faithful star wars fan I kept reading and I epected i was rewarded at the end with a fanastic ending of the book . I rate this book 5 stars

Summary: Nothing fancy. Just great storywriting.
Review: This book continues the greatness of the Jedi Apprentice series. Although published by Scholastic and targeted for a 9 to 12-year-old audience, I found the book interesting and the adventures are non-stop. Obi-Wan must act alone as Qui-Gon is away carrying on a mission, and he shows great perserverence on his own, although he is a little gullible at times. But the end result is another job well-done, and this is truly a great book.

Summary: A great continuation of the first three books.
Review: This book picks up where THE HIDDEN PAST left off. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan have finally arrived on the planet Gala. While Qui-Gon sets off to deliver a message, a secret kept for many years, thirteen-year-old Obi-Wan discovers a plot to kill the queen and sabatoge the upcoming transition to democracy. To find out what happens, you have to read the book, but believe me, you won't be dissapointed!
