Review: I love Star Wars related books, usually it takes me 4 or 5 days to read one, but this... I read it from time to time because the plot is so boring, it keeps winding and winding without any real action or suspense. The only reason I read it is because I like the way the other bounty hunters (Bossk, Zuckuss, etc) are exploited.

Review: I really enjoyed this book because of the twists and turns that happen throughout the book. I also liked the smooth transitions between past and present. I reccomend that you read this book after you have read the first one The Mandalorian Armor. Good Series!!

Summary: It's Star Wars, but there are so many that are better!
Review: When I first saw the bounty Hunter Wars books in print I grabbed them immediately. Who doesn't love reading more about Boba Fett? However, with Slave Ship and its predecessor I am left disappointed by too many scheming characters, flowery speechs the last several pages, and not enough action. Someone else needs to write this. There is so much potential!!

Summary: The further adventures of Boba Fett...
Review: This book follows along the same lines as The Mandalorian Armor, but that's expected in a trilogy. The "now" and "then" convention is still used to denote the two different time periods, although this time we see that the "then" portions are really the story Dengar is telling to Neelah. Although this switching still seems a little awkward to me, it grows on you after a while.My favorite part of Slave Ship was the focus on Kuat of Kuat. In The Mandalorian Armor, we barely get a glimpse of this ultimate engineer, but in Slave Ship his character is fully fleshed out. His troubles with the ruling houses of Kuat provide the background for my favorite scene in the novel. Also, the subplot with Kuh'dar Mu'bat and his upstart Balancsheet is interesting. I still wish Jeter would have stayed with the original characterizations of the bounty hunters. Also, his writing style still does not seem well-suited to a Star Wars book, although it improved from The Mandalorian Armor. It's a good book, and definitely worth reading if you like Star Wars. I'd still recommend beginners to start with another series though.

Review: Slave Ship was a really good book. Unfortunately, it relies so heavily on Shadows of The Empire that anyone who hasn't read Shadows will not understand either of the books in this series. Still, it is definitely a good book to add to the Star Wars Galaxy.

Review: I have read the first book and I am a little disapointed with Slave Ship. The author doesn't portray some key characters well and if you have read Tales of the Bounty Hunters, you would see that some of Jeter's characters do not coincide with the book. I am sorry to say that he strayed from the focus on Fett and this is not one of the normal think your way through the plot type of book. Overall, this book is good, but not great.

Review: I liked this book as much as the first book in the series mainly because it dealt with Boba Fett. I do think that the other was a little long winded, or worded and the jumping between time frames made it hard to keep track of where you were in reference to other parts of the book.

Summary: Good plot....poor delivery. No flow to the book.
Review: As with the 1st book in the series, I found the plot to be extremely interesting and gripping. Unfortunately, the way the author delivers the story, it is difficult to follow the flow of the book. By going back and forth to different time frames, the author loses any sense of stability for the story. I often found myself wondering what the author was talking about. On several occasions, the author makes references to things that have not yet occurred within the storyline. Too much chop, not enough flow!!
