Summary: suddenly, it all makes sense
Review: this is more of a furutist novel than about this thing icehenge. Robinson seems to make an attempt at a probable future, he examines what an interplanetary society would be like. People in this book live 700 years because of genetic treatments, that is handeled well too. By the way, this is the only book in which you'll read someone described as "an attractive, hundredish woman."

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Really FOUR and a HALF .
Review: This is one of Robinson`s best earlier works. Icehenge has a good story with memorable characters and events that lead to a good ending. Some what predictable at time, neverless a good read that I would recommend to any Sci-Fi fan. Check out Short, Sharp Shock next.

Summary: Really FOUR and a HALF stars
Review: Very good book. The only problem was the fact that it didn`t mesh well with the Mars trilogy. Well written with a good plot that keeps you reading throughout the night (and day). One of the best of Robinson`s early works. Read A Short, Sharp Shock next.
