Rating: Summary: Great Storyline with lots of action and suspense. Review: Great Characters, great story, and you have to love the Dragon Overlords
Rating: Summary: It's fine. Review: I admit that this is my second Dragonlance book, but I think it was fairly good.I especially enjoyed the attack to claim the prisoners from the Knights. Also people complain about Palin's family's names being similar, I should relate you to J.R.R. Tolkien's book The Hobbit. A.k.a, Balin, Dwalin (Brothers) Fili, Kili (Brothers) Oin, Gloin (Brothers) Nori, Ori, and Dori (Brothers... I admit there was some flaws but it still was a fairly good book.
Rating: Summary: This book was great. Review: I agree that this is better than the first, I personally can't wait untill they come out with the third, "The Eve of the Maelstrom", If you have questions about the book, or any of the other DragonLance books feel free to contact me at RYPT60C@Prodigy.com Thank you.
Rating: Summary: I hated it Review: I couldn't get past the first 150 pages of it. I just found myself lossing to much interest in the story to the point where I didn't care what happened to the characters or Krynn. You could skip this trilogy and completely understand what's going on on Krynn during the War of Souls. Rabes style of writing just isnt for me I guess. The first book of the series was good, but not really this one in my opinion.
If you have nothing better to read, then pick this up, other than that I dont think it's worth it.
Rating: Summary: excellent continuation fot the future of Krynn. Review: I didn't expect much ,being that the magic and all was gone from the world but the new characters and the continuation of the Raistlin mystery urges you on.It was great and I definitly reccomend this book.
Rating: Summary: Much better Review: I have just recently read Jean Rabe's Fifth Age books and just finished Day of the Tempest. I thought it was a great book and much much better than the first book. The book has an interesting and compelling tale and I can't wait to read the next to discover the fate of Dhamon and company.
Rating: Summary: Big, Nasty Dragons! Review: I looooove dragons. And this writer knows how to portray them. I especially like the Storm Over Krynn. This'd make a neat movie.
Rating: Summary: A great book with an equal amount of high and low points Review: I loved this book, although its not in my top 5 i liked it just as much, i only wish they could have expanded on the shadow dragons.
Rating: Summary: Good read Review: i thought after the first book that this would be a very bad book to read, but i urged myself on, i picked it up and withing 2 sentances i was hooked, i didnt put it down for about 23 hours, got an hour of sleep and started up again, i think Jean Rabe rights Palin the best, and then with the addition of Dhamon, i think this to be the best book in the Fifth Age. ThE series itself is awesome, but this books ties it all together.
Rating: Summary: Fair, But Fun Review: I was excited that new DragonLance books were coming out, so I instantly bought the new books. But were fun to read and compare the new heroes to the originals. I do feel though that Rabe lacks the magical and captivating feeling that Weis and Hickman create. Over all though I was pleased that the land of Krynn will forever live.
