Summary: its alright for star wars
Review: i like the bounty hunter wars better, like the mandalorian armor, and slave ship.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent reference book for the SW action figure collector.
Review: I must agree with the 4 and 5-star readers who rated this book highly. And I too question the very suspicious one-star review that seems like some vindictive attack on Steven Sansweet. He knows his subject and every one of his books are on my shelves -- and that's where they belong if you are a serious SW collector.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It is a very informative book.
Review: I really think that this book is very informative. It gives you very detailed information about the prices of star wars action figures. It's completely accurate 98% of the time! A very good buy, if you really want good information about collecting the figures.

Summary: The book is not a critique....
Review: I was reading the reviews and it totally baffles me...this book is not a critique of action figures...of course it's BIASED...it was written by someone who has his paychecks signed by Lucas himself! But really what it comes down to, it that this is a book of beautifuly photographed TOYS. The reason that there isn't much text is because the PICTURES do most of the talking and that is just fine with me. Sitting on the coffee tables of some people are books of houses, buildings, paintings or whatever...I would be proud to display this book, it shows these little pieces of colored plastic as art.

Summary: Steve Sansweet is selling us out.
Review: If Amazon allowed me to give this book no stars, I would. Do not be fooled.

Summary: a solid reference for any star wars lovers
Review: If you happen to be a solid fan of the star wars universe like me , this book is my highest recommendation even if you're not the kind of people to buy every toy variation of star wars figures, you'll appreciate browsing the pages of the incredibly detailed piece of work. Enjoy !

Summary: The BIBLE for Star Wars Toy Collectors!
Review: Incredible book! Every page is of high quality paper with stunning photos of the front, back, and side of a every figure ever produced. I was in awe when I first opened it and I could not put it down until I browsed through every page. One nice feature is there is a photo of every figure in its card packaging. If there are variations to the cards, it has a photo of each! In the back of the book, there is a detailed listing of all figures, catagorized. You can photocopy these lists and then use it as a checklist for your own collection. I have been collecting for quite some time and this book re-fires the Star Wars collecting spirit and made me remember all the toys I had as a child that brought me so much joy.

Summary: The Force was with them...
Review: John Ling and Steve Sansweet have outdone themselves. Being a fan and collector of the films and memorabilia of Star Wars for over 26 years, I was impressed by the attention to detail that was paid in this book. Or, as Darth Vader would say, "Impressive...most impressive." My area of collecting lies mainly with carded figures and this book has it all. I was also wowed by the many never before seen deleted scene images from the films that are showcased throughout this book. Too bad this book isn't in print anymore, but good for me I was able to get a copy!

Summary: A Coffee book table for Star Wars Action Figures!!!!!
Review: Oh man, oh man...this is one fine looking little book. A guide to the Star Wars action figure lines from the 70's, 80's, & 90's- all laid out in a simply stylish manner. A great over-view of this famous line of toys, filled with tons of facts and data on the extensive varations of action figures and accesories. Don't order this thinking its a price guide, though. It's just a glorious book that depicts the wonderful Star Wars action figure line in all its wonder.
