Summary: It's a great book for all Fantasy lovers.
Review: It introduces Spellfire, magic and magical creatures to the beginer readers of Ed's books. Shandril , a wielder of spellfire in a long line of spellfire wielders meets a begining wizard, Narm. They come against the odds of the Zents, a mazzive army led by Manshoon (a mighty mage, not as mighty as Elminster tho) and half of the Realms trying to kidnap her to use her as a great weapon. With the aid of Elminster and the Harpers she must overcome this or become a slave to the first person who can nab her and watch her husband, Narm die.

Summary: ED! MORE MANSHOON LESS EVERYTHING ELSE!
Review: OH MY GOD! Ed I swear if I hear ONE more time about Shandril and her god like powers....People the only way to enjoy this book is to look for the parts that AREN'T about Shandril and Narm...Read about the villains...I really enjoy reading about Manshoon and Fzoul and I am always voting for them as they are HUNDREDS of times more interesting than the heroes.....I swear if the villains had killed her I would have given this a 5 star rating....

Summary: Greenwood goes megalomaniac again
Review: Oh no. Another book about the godlike Shandril. The innocent maiden slaying her enemies by the dozens, hundreds, thousands ? It is just boring to read about an invincible girl and her special power. Why did I read it in the first place ? Maybe I hope that Greenwood will create some characters one day, in which can actually "believe". Up to now I can only laugh about the good ones of his novels and always side with the bad guys, because they never have a chance.

Summary: *AAAARRRGGGHHHH* Ed Greenwood strikes again!
Review: Okay Ed. I think I am starting to really get behind your work. You divide people in the Realms into two classes: the all powerful (e.g. Elminster, Shandril) and the pathetically weak (e.g. The purple dragons (!) and Narm). Hey, everyone is entitled to his point of view. Nietzsche had a few similar opinions but I bet even he would have laughed tears at what you have produced this time. The story is not even worth mentioning, except for the hallmark of Greenwoodian writing style: a gigantic all defying, butt kicking rampage at the end, which was so impossible that it was hilarious (so hilarious it earned this "so called novel" a second star) At least this time there were a few fun characters in the book like Torm. But if at all possible Narm is even punier than he was before! Please Ed, there are people who are not all powerful or totally pathetic! Do try to write about normal humans who are on a quest (and might NOT succeed) while leaving out the pseudo gods, okay? Until then have Shandril marry the Terminator (at least he'd go down with style) and send Narm to some faroff sorcerer to pester and whine at. Or just lock them both into that hidden house and I'll gladly swallow the key myself.

Summary: Another good book by Ed Greenwood
Review: Yet another book from Ed that is well worth the read. So far, I have found all of his books to be very fun to read. While I wouldn't allow Spellfire in my game, I thikn it makes for interesting reading, and a good story. Keep up the good work.
