Summary: The Fight to Survive
Review: ... Anyway, this was a very good book. Yes, it's written for children, but it's a superb example of a book for children. There's no candy-coating of reality. Boba learns that the world is what it is. Eels eat mice and there's nothing you can do to save to mice, but sometimes the snake whose life you saved keeps you warm at night after your whole world has fallen apart. Or maybe it's a different snake, who has no debt to you but does it anyway. It's just a whole cycle, with good intentions, and conflicting desires, and the fight to survive on every side. Deeper than most children's books get, but what they ought to be. The plot falls down after Terry gets through with the events of the movie, though. The plot stops adding up to anything much, and it would have been a much cleaner ending if it was cut off just after Boba leaves Kamino for the last time. Other than that, it's a good book. And the title is just perfect for it!

Summary: star wars boba fett - a good book
Review: By the title you may think that this book is just another boring copy of the Clone Wars book, but it's not! It's about what happened after the clone wars. Boba Fett goes to Count Duku who befriends him and leaves him on the filthy planet called Raxus Prime to die. But does he die? You'll have to read it to find out. I think that this book was great because the author really captures the anger and rage Boba has for the Jedi. This book is awesome and I recommend it to all the sci-fi fans and the star wars lovers out there I give this book a 10 out of 10.

Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER
Review: Following the pattern of filling in details about the prequel era, this book fits in and adds new details to the live and times of the characters that we meet in Episode 2 TPM. The first 90 plus pages are the view of the events in episode 2 through 10 year old Boba Fetts eyes. We experience his feeling about the deaths of Zam and Jango. We see his live on Kamino and the battle of Geonosis as he witnessed it, included when windu Slices hi fathers head off. But then Boba is suddenly alone and must survive. The last 50 pages show how he must deal with others in his search for Count Dooku known as Tyranus to a small few.

This book takes place during the events of Ep1 and the next few days after so I have it at [money amount]on the SW timeline. The book includes the clone wars timeline that existed when it was published in April 2003. It is written for an age level of about 8 to 11 year olds which is why I can only give it 2 stars since I have children who are in there 20s. But it does contribute to the overall SW story and can be read very quickly. We learn only a little bit that is new. For a real understanding about Jango, Check out the comics because they provide a lot of details we don't learn elsewhere yet.

This book can be a nice reader for an adult to share with their children. What Lucas licensing is doing is telling the story through various media like books for children, comics, novels and the movies. Each is fitting together very nicely evidencing so excellent advance planning. I also recommend the comics from Dark horse. Though the comics are harder to read for younger children than this book, the illustrations are rich and detailed. My son prefers that I read the comics with him because he is a very visual person.

Summary: OK, but needs more action?
Review: I contomplated giving this book a 4/5 starts, because if you look at it on the levil of it's going to be a series, it's brilliant in the aspect of the cliffhanger ending, but just reading the first book, I thougth the action could have been expanded. It was only 157 pages, it could have easily been longer. The writing was not that great, but it is targeted at younger kids. BUY IT IF YOUR WILLING TO BUY MORE IN A SERIES, or you want a quick read on the background of Boba Fett, everyone's well loved Bounty Hunter...

Summary: Boba Fett is amazingly cool!
Review: I read this book and it was amazingly cool! I liked the book because Boba was only 10 years old and he flew the Slave 1 all by himself. He had to find his own way in the universe. It was weird because he met other bounty hunters that helped him because they knew his dad, Jango Fett. I liked it because it was about my favorite characters in Star Wars. Boba Fett is not a bad guy, he was not bad or good. It was kinda of sad that Boba Fett was all alone in the universe and he had to make his own way at only 10 years old. All in all this book was very suspenseful and I couldn't wait to finish the story!

Summary: Not bad if you like Boba Fett
Review: I was dissapointed when i got the book to find it was a child's book. I read it anyway. I agree that it was poorly written even if the book's target audience was young children. I still liked reading about the background of Boba Fett's life. The story was interesting and so was finding out how Boba Fett came to be. I assume there will be more books on him since the book ends with Boba Fett at age 10. I can only assume that some of the story line came straight from Episode II. Since i am currently deployed and have not been able to see the movie. I reccomend "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" to find out what happens to Boba Fett after his apparent, and simple death on Tattoine

Summary: Hooray For Boba!
Review: In summary, this book is great, and Fett fans won't be disappointed.

To be honest, when I first heard about this book/series I imagined that it would be pretty bad. I reluctantly picked it up off the bookshop shelf for purchase. (Actually the only reason i did buy it was because after reading the opening chapters of Star Wars Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine, I needed to find some new reading material quickly).

I am pleased to say that I was very surprised, this book was fantastic!

It provides a great insight into Boba and Jango's relationship, and much of it ties in well with Attack of the Clones. Actually I'll go one step further and say that it adds an enormous amount of character to George Lucas's wooden actors and pathetic dialog that really let Boba down. In my opinion George Lucas killed Boba in Episode 2. This book, fortunately, has truly brought Boba Fett back to life, and now I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

We get to see how Boba survives without his father, and we are shown the first lessons Boba learns (the hard way) that will eventually mold him into the bounty hunter we all love from the original trilogy and other later tales.

It is also interesting to see the beginning of relationships forming between Boba and other major characters from Episode 2 that will eventually explain Boba's alignment towards the Empire.

This was a very pleasant read, and I now look on that little New Zealand boy in Episode 2 in a much different light.

Boba Fett 1, George Lucas (circa 2002) 0.

Gee I hope the entire series will be this good.

Summary: Could I learn more about Boba Fett, NO!
Review: This book is one of the best Star Wars books I've ever read. Ever since I read this book I've been interested in the bounty hunter Boba Fett. While reading these books I learned a lot about Boba and a lot of other charecters. You learn what a tough time Boba had as a child, how he became a bounty hunter, and how he got his start with Jabba the Hutt.
This first book is pretty much him and his father on their home planet of Kamino, not much happening. (until the end) This book lays out the whole trilogies plot (you Must read this one FIRST) to number's 2 and 3.
I reccomend this item if you like Star Wars, I promise that this book will delight you.
