Summary: A must read for anyone that loves witches
Review: This series I came across quite accidently, but since I have a fascination with the occult and witch craft I decided to give it a try. I was amazed. I have never read a witch story that contained so much information, so many different types of characters... it was so wonderful. I found myself getting lost in the story, carrying the book with me everywhere I went so I wouldn't miss anything that happened. I have waiting a year for the third in the series to come out, and it's release date is so close I can taste it! (July 5! ) I think everyone should give Mr. Clemens a chance.

Summary: Original, Dark and Graphic
Review: This world is macabre but fascinating. A well-crafted, provocative read that trades too much on sensationalizing the evil of the lost and undone. I found the characters appealing but "flat" and hard to identify with -- where are the flaws that endear us to one another? However, the concepts of "good vs. evil" presented are filtered through a different light than the norm -- intriguing enough to warrant a second-glance.

Summary: okay
Review: Thought the story jumped around alot. Was suprised when they took care of the spider lady so early on. I was wondering what they were going to face for the next 350 pages. Still a good book with alot of action. I had to read the sea dragon/mermaid part twice to truly understand what was going on and how he came to life. Pretty cool regardless. Really interested about the romance. When or if anything is going to happen. So is Clemens going to put the readers out of their misery?! Hopefully in book three, which is what I'm about to start on now.

Summary: Darker and Nastier than the first! In other words I love it!
Review: Usually the second novel in a fantasy series is the weakest. This rule is broken in this sequel to witchstorm as Clemens returns us to his world of awesome good and terrifying evil! Our heroine come one step closer to fulfilling her destiny and dark forces against her are more determine than ever to defeat her.The author introduces us to more characters and one scene a character is killed in a most shocking manner! Word to the wise:this novel has depictions of creatures straight of nightmares and those who suffer arachnophobia might steer clear of this novel.Other than that pick up this book be prepare for another dark, twisted and unforgettable ride!

Summary: A marked improvement
Review: When I have read book one "Wit'ch Fire" was extremely not impressed. The characters struck me as shallow and the storyline as boring. Clemens imporves drastically in the second book of the series. The action seems to take off and either the characters are better realized, or I am getting much less picky. I found the wanton addition of characters and the odd coincidences linking the past and the future a bit too overdone, and I still do not qualify this book as a "keeper", but it undoubdetly deserves its four stars.

Summary: WITCH SEQUEL IS A RAGING STORM OF ADVENTURE!
Review: WITCH STORM is a very good magical mystery tour-de-force of magical beings both of the light and the dark - and even in-between! The pace is always going and the storyline and characters grow in this trilogy. The newest characters are really cool both good and bad. Colorful scenes of magick fight scenes mixed with richly flowing storytelling make this a fantastic book to read. I am just a action fanatic and only wish this book could unleash some serious sword and axe-weilding fight scenes - dont get me wrong, there are plenty of action scenes, but they are mostly magically motivated - but wonderfully written and thought provoking plot make it move right along! Please don't pass this one up folks! I would love to see things like this in a full-length animated movie, it would be a smash hit - but hollywood just isn't that smart yet. This is a wonderful writer who writes under another pen name -james rollins who gave us SUBTERRANEAN, a wonderful read in itself, and my personal favorite of this guy so far, a must read!

Summary: The stuff of true epic fantasy!!
Review: With James Clemens newest adventure, Wit'ch Storm, the reader is once again taken on an adrenaline pumping adventure through Alasea. As only a master talespinner can do, Mr. Clemens introduces new heroes and shows us terrifying evil that reaches out from the book and grabs at your soul. By far my favorite new author, James Clemens shows readers that he is here to stay. This follow-up book is truly fantastic, picking right up where Wit'ch Fire left off. The companions traverse new terrain (now a map is included!) on their journey to the mythical city of A'loa Glen. Through erie swamps, dark castles and even beneath the waves, prophecy is drawing the forces of good together for a titanic battle against the Dark Lord! With an incredible imagination James Clemens keeps the reader turning the pages. I don't know how many times I said to myself "Just one more chapter....". I just couldn't put the book down, and I definately can't wait for for the next. Incorporating all the classic elements of fantasy and bringing in some fresh new ideas Jim Clemens keeps the magic alive in us. He cracked open the door and let us peek into his imgination with Wit'ch Fire. With the release of Wit'ch Storm he's blown the door off its hinges! Spinning classic tales of fantasy where dragons spring to life and a mystical brotherhood comes to light, James Clemens has taken the fantasy genre by "STORM"!

Summary: Superb Ride
Review: Wow! Do yourself a favor and experience this writer as he is getting better and better. _Wit'ch Fire_ was good, this one's great, folks. All the misgivings I wrote about in my review of _Wit'ch Fire_ are gone. This book, like the first, is an awesome rollercoaster ride. It grips you from page one and never lets go. Superb pacing. And unlike the first, where the charcters were a bit simplistic in my opinion, they have become significantly more three-dimensional. The bad boys are truly interesting; most of them used to be regular people that have been twisted by a powerful dark force. This is an excellent novel for anyone who loves epic fantasy. How grateful I am to live in this time and have the pleasure to read this wonderful tale.
