Summary: Great Story
Review: It is a great story, with my favourite part being the part where the Glass Elevator went into space.Even though it wasn't as good as the first story(Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)It is a great story all the same.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: No
Review: It was very boring. All that happened was them being out in space. It wasn't even very exiting when they got back to the chocolate factory and had trubles with the Wonka Vite pills.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Could be better.....
Review: It's not as good as the orginal book. And it had phases used in the movie, that were never used int he first book. And it takes place right after they arrive at Charlie's home to go back to the factory. There is no Veruca,Violet,Mike or Augustes in this book.Violet is mentioned a couple times though. There are aliens trying to take oer the world, and Willy Wonka and company stop them.It has explores Charlie's family, unlike the book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Don't read this book!!
Review: Much unlike the wonderful first book,Charlie and the chocolate factory, this book was horribly boring, and I had trouble not falling asleep while reading it.This book is definitely not one you'd want to read.

Summary: CHARLIE AND THE GREAT GLASS ELEVATOR
Review: My brother had this book when he was a little boy. My mother was cleaning out his closet and found this book of "CHARLIE AND THE GREAT GLASS EVEVATOR". She gave to my 8 years old son and I read to him and his 6 years old sister. They loved it every minutes of it. Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator is a GREAT BOOK and VERY FUNNY. There favorites is the Battle of the Knids. It was very funny and the kids loved it. I recommended this book to my other friends.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I think this book was very exiciting, interesting, and funny
Review: My favourite chapter was "Battle of the Knids" because it kept me on the edge of my bed wanting to read more.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome Book!
Review: One of the few great sequels in literature! Roald Dahl is my favorite author. He is so amazing how he just puts down the words so children can understand them. Its not like some big author using big grown-up words.

Summary: One of the most exciting, adventure story!
Review: One of the most exciting books is called Charlie and the Great Glass
Elevator. It is written by Roald Dahl, and it is fiction story. Also, this book is the 2nd series of gCharlie stories.h
This book begin with the part Mr. Wonka, the owner of the biggest chocolate factory to the boy named Charlie. They go to Charliefs house, because Charlie decided to live in the factory, and he wanted to live with his One of the most exciting books is called Charlie and the Great Glass parents, and grand parents. Then, the accident happens. On the way back to the factory, they go too far up and go up to the atmosphere. Then, they find the enormous space shuttle, which is Space Hotel U.S.A. But there was a big problem. In that space shuttle, there were tons of knids! Knids are very dangerous, and they can eat up people in one gulp! Do you think they can get back to Earth? Well, you better find the solution in your own.
I think that this storyfs strength is that it is very funny, and has some adventures. It also includes some jokes. I really liked this story, and I donft think this story has any weakness.
I really like this author, Roald Dahl, and I think he is good, funny, and creative author. In some of his books, I couldnft stop laughing. I recommend this book to elementary kids, and may be 6th grader, because it has some magic and eimpossiblef stuff, so if you used to read fiction book a lot, you should try this book.

Summary: When Charlie Bores Me!
Review: Roald Dahl was one of the most brilliant children's novelists of all time, and his masterpieces "Danny the Champion of the World," "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" still stand up to repeated readings by kids and adults alike. "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator," however, is best forgotten. Supposedly a sequel to "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," this one does not come up to the first book at all. This tends to be the case with many sequels, but this one even goes so far as to tarnish the original it follows, by veering what was a splendid story into a realm so absurd and outlandish that it loses the vital toehold on believable reality that made the first book so endearing, magic and all. The first chapter, entitled "Mr. Wonka Goes too far," might be applied to this whole story, in which the author sends the characters (none of whom are as likeable as they were in the first book) into outer space to battle space aliens, and off to the White House to wrangle with the U.S. government, and other nonsense that has nothing to do with the first book and its accessible fun. I prefer to read "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" on its own and not to acknowledge that it even has a sequel. Kids may enjoy some of the silliness here, but few will remember it or treasure it like they will do with some of Dahl's other books.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: What a disappointment...
Review: Sorry, but this book was a real disappointment after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! If you are a parent, read it first before considering it for your children- mine were bored.
