This is a good fantasy book. There is twist after unexpected twist. This book is not predictable. It is a book for fantasy and action readers alike.

Summary: A DARK WESTERN FANTASY EPIC
Review: WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU CROSS THE WESTERN SHANE WITH A POST-HOLOCAUST SETTING AND SPRINKLE IT WITH BIBICAL REFERENCES? YOU GET A CLASSIC FANTASY EPIC CALLED WOLF IN SHADOW. GEMMELL HAS WRITTEN A UNIQUE AND THRILLING FANTASY ADVENTURE. YOU GET A UNFORGETTABLE HERO CALLED JON SHANOWEN. HE IS DIFFERENT FROM MOST FANTASY HEROES IN THAT; HE IS TROUBLED TORMENTED BY PERSONAL DEMONS. HE IS OBESSED IN FINDING NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM. SHANOWEN ALSO MUST FIGHT A EVIL SATANIST BEND ON WORLD DOMINATION. GEMMELL CREATES A DARK VISION OF THE FUTURE. THIS VISION OF LAWLESS LAND FILLED WITH BRIGANDS AND MUTANTS, CANNIBALS, AND DARK FORCES.

Summary: Another great book!
Review: You've done it again Gemmell. Not only did you get me totally immersed in your story-telling again, but you did with a novel set in a post-apocolyptic world unlike any I've ever read about. The way you could jump from ancient times to a world thousand of years in the future and manage to mesh them together without conflicts or confusion is truly commendable. Loved the book, and Jon Shannow is a memorable hero
