Summary: Truly fantastic
Review: It can be so difficult to find a good quality fantasy series. Robert Stanek makes this quest a little easier with Ruin Mist Chronicles. He does a masterful job creating a fantasy world. This book is a great addition and should be picked up by anyone who is looking for a good read. While this book is written more for adult readers, it is a book that can be enjoyed by anyone. Action, intrigue, drama, and suspense keep the book going from the beginning to the end.

Summary: Great book
Review: This is truly the best book I ever read. I enjoyed this book to such an extent that I bought all the other books in the series. If you read this book, you will not be disappointed. Robert Stanek fully developes his characters in such a profound way, that you start to wish that you could help the characters along in there journey. A truly amazing book that has earned every single star that I gave it, and a couple of extra ones.

Summary: Disjointed and disappointing
Review: I bought this book and it's companion (Keeper Martin's Tale) from Amazon and after reading it and half of the other I have to say that it was a waste of money. The story jumps around to cover the main characters but I think portions were cut out that would have helped it flow better. I was surprised to see that the other book, Keeper Martin's Tale, was almost exactly identical to this - but it had some different parts here and there. What a [disappointment]! With better editing, they should have made the two books one that had a more complete story.

Summary: AWESOME!!!
Review: Robert Stanek started off a great and enthralling series with Keeper Martin's Tale. This story of adventure is captivating throughout and is not read by enough people. The book is not cheesy or boring, like many other fantasy novels. I'm a hardcore fantasy reader and this book in my opinion is second only to GRR Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice. In all a very very good book that I couldn't put down until I was finished. I also recommend A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, and A Storm of Swords.

Summary: I loved the characters
Review: I'm almost finished with this book. I don't want it to end. The first day I had it, I was reading it on the train and the person next to me just started raving about how great he thought Stanek was. I didn't say much cause it was my first time reading. After the first chapter, I could see why. And after you read this, go get Stanek's next. Stanek just seems to 'get' it.

Summary: Exactly what I was looking for in a fantasy book
Review: This is a must-read for anyone who even remotely enjoys fantasy. I read this book in three days, and I am not a fast reader. I simply could not put it down! It never failed to surprise me. The twists of the plot draw you in, and the intricate weave of detail keeps you wanting more. I recommend it to all, can't wait to read Kingdom Alliance. Stanek's works are richly detailed, filled with character, surprises.

Summary: A True Instant Classic
Review: Robert Stanek is easily my favorite author. "Elf Queen's Quest" blows away almost every book that I've read. This is the second book in the series titled "Ruin Mist Chronicles". It is different from most books in that it doesn't pick up right after the first book in the series. Instead it provides new views/insights into what's happened, introducing new characters and events. With this book comes more magical things than what was in the first book. Many magical doings take place and are major to the plot. What makes "Elf Queen's Quest" interesting, and the other novel in this series is the way that the story is told. Sections within chapters are told from the point of view of the main characters and because of this you are not stuck with the point of view of one character throughout the whole entire story. This book is a new type of fantasy novel and shouldn't be missed. The prose and characters are excellent. The action believable.

Summary: Robert Stanek has done it again
Review: I have never loved a series as much as I love ruin mist. I find myself reading it all the time. If I had to pick one book to be my favorite of all time it would be elf queen's quest. I highly recomend reading it no matter what age you are. If you like reading fantasy or if you don't I am sure you will love Robert Stanek's ruin mist series. Its a wonderful adventure! The story begins when three groups of people set out for different reasons, all linked with the same destiny. This story has it all. Action, intrigue, thrills. The introduction is a bit slow, but once the story starts you won't be able to put it down.
