Summary: By far, one of the best!
Review: This book is probably my favorite, because of all the things they used to make it great.Adventure, romance, suspense, all that good stuff. All in all, a great book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great adventure
Review: This book was very surprising to me, it was the first I chose to read after reading the 4 main books.(Summer,Winter,Autumn,Spring) I was very pleased with the plot and how well the character's were developed.

You feel what it is like to be Tanis. It has no real relavance to the origional books, but is a wonderfull side story.

Summary: An immerse story you won't want to miss.
Review: This was trully one of the better DragonLance novels, and it is one of my favorites. Tanis gets drawn away from his initial quest to enter the mind of a dying wizard....and from there he embarks into an unforgetable stroy. The mix of adventure, romance, and mystery make for a fantastic experience. A must read for all fantasy readers, familiar with DragonLance or not.

Summary: kinda slow to start.....
Review: though i am new to the world of krynn, i am an avid fan. after seaching for this book for months, i was disapointed with it for the time tanis went back in time. after that point, the fight with the giant spider was the only part that got my heart pounding. the foundation of the book, although solid, was a bit too shallow.

Summary: Might just be the best book...
Review: TO me, this was, by far, better than any other preludes book, tales book, (except maybe love and war) and practically any other Dragonlance book available. This book has it all, action, romance, its even got some pretty funny parts to it. The characters seem real, not just some shallow wannabe adventurer, and the plot is great. The fighting in this book was truly spectacular in the detail. If you ever are gonna read DL, than you have to get this book!

Summary: the women in tanis' life
Review: uh....i like the book, i really do (maybe it's because i like Tanis' character), but something about it smacks of a romance novel that's not quite a romance novel (blame it on the husband-wife author team). Before Laurana, there was Kitiara, and now it seems, during Kitiara there was also Bran. However, this is not a love story (fortunately, heheh) and does rather well as a fantasy adventure novel. It has a very interesting plot involving time travel, the realm of memories and coming to terms with one's own self. Its last few pages strike a nostalgic chord, especially for people who have ever wanted someone belonging to another person. This is not an epic story, though, and fails to live up to the hype that surrounds Tanis' disappearance into the mountains. In fact, this story covered little less than a month or so of the hero's 5 years of solitude. It ended saying Tanis' sojourn would have to wait for another telling. But, when all is said and done, this is still a tale worth passing your time.

Summary: A good book!
Review: Unlike The Oath & The Measure,The Companions,Darkness & Light and Kendermore, this actually fits into the Dragonlance saga - a few days after the Companions seperate & almost a month before Raistlin takes the Test.
Unlike those others books, the writing's very good as well. I'd definately recommend this one.

Summary: Good but not great
Review: Well, I must say I did enjoy this book. It is a worthy read if you are a Dragonlance fan. With that said it is not the best one out there. It was a very interesting story and very different, but Tanis was not quit the same as in the Chronicles. They did write him a little differently and that is what kept it from being great.

Summary: A wonderful time with Tanthalas.
Review: You are in the Inn of the last home, there you find a dwarf that tells you that he wants to travel with you, and in paying for that he can show him, his human father. You accept, and you go with him to the house of an old mage, that invites Tanis to a wonderful trip in his memory
