Summary: This was a fun one!
Review: This book was so much fun. "Rhea" is a hilarious character and it was so much fun knowing all the things she was referring to.
Also, when she starts telling stories to the centaurs, that was great too. I loved this book! Buy it!

Summary: "STUPID...SILLY...WASTE OF TIME...
Review: Phew! What a stinker! Goddess by Mistake by P.C. Cast was a major disappointment to me! Waste of my time and money! Where do some of these writer's get their ego's fresh out of print from?

The story per se had a good idea going for a quick minute, but just as quickly lost it! Maybe in time the writer (s) will improve their new-found writing skills, but to have their friend's compare this writer (s) to LACKEY??? Get Real!

The characters in this story in all fairness were okay as far as this type of genre goes, but the dialogue and the plot left a lot to be desired and the editor shood be shot!

Summary: Ignore any of the negative reviews
Review: This book was fun. It was easy to read, the characters were beyond interesting and the story was great.

I think that if there are 27 good reviews and 2 bad ones, it goes to show you that some people just have to be contrary. But that's just MY opinion... so try the book, it's a blast!

Summary: You Won't Want to Put it Down
Review: This is a great book, one you won't want to put down once you've started.
I don't understand the negative reviews. Seems some men just don't want to know what goes on inside a woman's mind!
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Am eagerly awaiting the next one.

Summary: Lacking...Lacking...Lacking
Review: After reading all the GLOWING reviews of this book I had to chuckle...What a JOKE!

This book "Goddess by Mistake" is quite simply LACKING...lacking in direction and design. The characters were anything BUT believeable. The dialogue was that of a junior high school student or TWO and the plot was unfocused and did not flow well.

However, the idea the writer(s) had for a story wasn't half bad. Maybe a few more books to their credit will do the trick.

I'm sorry but half way through this book I threw it across the room. I could not finish it. It was both a waste of my time and my money but then again this is only one man's honest opinion.

Summary: RIght up there with Lackey!!!
Review: This is Hands-down one of the Best books I have read in the last few years!!! It kept my attn through some horrible pain and made me giggle and laugh out loud!! I immediately invoked the "girlfriend network" and told everyone to drop everything and read this first! P.C. Cast has a wonderfully warped sense of humor - I can just see her terrorizing her adoring English classes! I also found her personally gracious when I wrote to tell her how much I loved the book! The next one is one the way - I'm waiting Impatiently!

Summary: Sorry...Liked the premise, but just couldn't cut it!
Review: I really wanted to like this book! I honestly did! But, it was just too silly for me to finish. I'm sorry to say.

Author P.C. Cast had invited me to buy, read, and review "Goddess by Mistake," I'm sorry but your book was just not my cup of tea!

Maybe your next book?

Summary: Absolutly wonderful!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Rhea's storytelling of the "Highwayman" and "Phantom of the Opera" was brillant. I can't wait for the next book from P C Cast.

Summary: A Wild Ride
Review: This book is a new favorite. The main character (Shannon/Rhea) was so much fun! The dialogue was witty and the characters believable (they make mistakes).

I read this book in under 24 hrs and am re-reading it now. I can't wait for the next book to be finished!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The absolute best!
Review: Perfect blend of Fantasy and Romantic Adventure.

This book simply cannot be topped. To say that I enjoyed this book would be a VAST understatement. The wit and writing style are fantastic. Shannon's self-depreciating sense of humor is hilarious. I laughed and sighed and genuinely hated to see the last page. Shannon reminded me of a cross between Anita Blake (in the very beginning of the series) and Stephanie Plum - funny and willing to get the job done.

Shannon Parker is a 35-year-old high school English teacher. She is smart and sassy and fun to read about. She winds up in a twisted dimension and finds herself in the middle of a battle of good and evil with some very familiar characters from her "past" life. In this new life, she finds love, friendship and plenty of adventure.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book.
