Summary: Wonders of the Star Wars Universe!
Review: The Paradise Snare was a load of fun to read! I liked alot, for that is why I gave it five stars! Before I read this book, I had only seen the movies, but I have enjoyed this book ten times more than the movies, even though the writer of this book is a hack (but has a few series of her own) A.C Cripson is my favorite auther now, only because of this one book! I simply adored this book and all the others in the series. I recommend evryone reads this book, and you will understand the beuty of star wars. Before I read this book I liked Boba Fett, but now Han Solo beat him all the way (with a little help of Lando) The Paradise Snare was just great! Pure enjoyment (and high stakes!) If you do not like this book, you can e-mail me and tell me the EXACT reason you cold bloodedly, black heartidly hated it! If you love this book e-mail me too, I discuss some things. That's all for now bye!

Summary: Great book! A must read!
Review: This is the best Star Wars book I have ever read. If you're looking for action, adventure, and slight romance go for this. It is a tale of Han Solo before the movies. He sets off toward a planet to smuggle spice and realizes that there is no escape from the dangers there. He falls in love with a slave and they begin a plan to escape. To find out what happens you'll have to read it. This book does have twists so don't assume anything.

Summary: Great! The Best! Han Solo lives!
Review: I don't know how people manage to find fault with A. C. Crispin's Han Solo books. They are very nearly perfect in capturing the Star Wars "feel" and loveable old Han himself. Paradise Snare is wonderful. Read it and see!

Summary: Important tip for new Star Wars authors...
Review: For some reason the author feels like she has to prove that this character is the Han Solo! She keeps making references to Han not wanting to look scruffy, just because in "The Empire" there was one tiny reference to Han being mock-offended by being called scruffy by Leia. I mean from the time Han was six years old when the book starts, he keeps being concerned about his appearance because he doesn't want to look scruffy.

And that's just one example. I also feel like if you took any sentence that Han ever said in any of the movies, chances are, you would find that exact same sentence in this trilogy. For example: "I have a bad feeling about this." That sentence was used once in Star Wars, but in this first book in the Han Solo trilogy it has already been used about a dozen times.

Summary: ALL STAR WARS BOOKS ARE GREAT!
Review: Including this one!

SYNOPSIS: "The Paradise Snare" begins with Han's late teen years and chronicles his transformation into a swashbuckling pilot. This is the first paperback original novel to be published following the theatrical re-release of the "Star Wars" films, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the original movie. "Star Wars" point-of-sale material includes FREE mobile, "Star Wars Adventures Continues".

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This book is great, and really lets you get to know Han. The other two are good too.

Summary: Good reading -- for a Star Wars novel
Review: The disclaimer says it all -- due to the Lucasfilm constraints, or the endless need to milk the Star Wars cash cow for all it's worth, most Star Wars novels are absolutely wretched. The Han Solo trilogy is better than that; the plot is original and entertaining, and some very interesting ideas about Solo's past are brought up. Unfortunately, the execution remains simplistic, and the writing style is mediocre at best. Although I hoped for more, I did enjoy the read.

Summary: YES!!! The most wonderful book ever!
Review: A.C. Crispin has definitely saved the world of Star Wars books after Hambly's embarrassing text she calls 'novels'. Crispin captures the personality of Han Solo in this book that is beyond words. The characters are well developed, and I loved the character Bria, Han's love interest in this Trilogy. If you love a good adventure and you love Han, GO BUY THIS BOOK!!!! It's worth it!!

Summary: A CLASSIC TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION
Review: I checked this book out from the library and could not put it down. I finished it in no time. I must say tis is a must for any STAR WARS fan. In response to some of the comments made by some of the people who gave this book a bad ranking, I have read other books outside of STAR WARS. I read all the time, and I must sa this is one of the BEST books I have ever read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Spectacular Novel!!!!!
Review: The Paradise Snare does a good job in introducing Han Solo's early years. The book tells about how Solo was kidnapped by Garris Shrike and was used as a theif when he was years old. It tells about how he escaped and went to the planet of Ylesia, a steaming world full of illegal drugs where escape is impossible. The book has a lot of action and suspense in it. It is a exciting book to read and it is a hard one to put down.
