Summary: A very satisfying read (Imagine "very" in italics)
Review: I loved this book-I stayed up all night reading it. Crispin perfectly captures the character of an unmatured Han Solo. Bravo!

Summary: Better than any other Star Wars book I've read
Review: I admit. I'm not Star Wars most hard-core fan. I admit. I'm not a person that reads 24/7. But what I will admit is that this SW book has everything a teenager fanboy nerd has ever wanted. There's action ( of course ) There's the trusty sidekick-Murrrgh. There's the vile villian-Teroenza, and then there's the true love-Bria Tharen. When I read this book, I was deeply satisfied with the description of the settings, the characters, and their feelings. When I first started to read this, back in June, when Murrrgh came into the story I thought, " Oh great. It's a Chewbacca rip-off." But later on in the story, he showed more and more character, which made me fascinated. I never really showed much interest for Han Solo, but it turns out he had a way more fascinating, and rough childhood than Luke Skywalker and his life as a moisture-farmer. Bria, in my opinion was one of the most interesting characters. I loved the way the author described how she was fighting her urge to go back to Ylesia, and get the exultation. I escpecialy loved the love story intermingled into the book. Some of the guys that wrote a review for this book obviously don't have any poetic bones in their body. They have to realize that sometimes it's good for a little romance in Sci-Fi books. It makes them whole. That was what made this book different from all of the other SW books. It was different for the better. As for the reason I gave this book a nine? Simple. Every book has it's flaws. I thought that at the end, when the bounty-hunter killed Garris Shrike, Han should've killed him, and not some hoky bounty-hunter. As for the rest... well... The rest was flawless.

Summary: Great!
Review: This book is great! I loved Ylesia, Muuurgh, and Alderaan. The only bad part of this book is the flashbacks of trying to please that droid 8CL. I really like the ending - I think its more artisic to not talk about Hans service in the Empire.

Summary: I liked this book alot
Review: I havn't read alot about Han Solo's past, but when I saw the book I was taken by the impulse to read it. I was not let down. This book kept me hooked until the end when I was left with a slight feeling fo withdrawl. Although I found myself thinking at some points,"Han Solo wouldn't say that," I did enjoy all of the circulation within the plot itself. At the end it did feel like a clumination rather than void. A very, very good book.

Summary: Another First in the Star Wars History
Review: I have been an avid star wars fan since '76 and the books were a fantastic addition to the universe. I read Paradise Snare with a lot of trepidation, as most of the characters we love and know so well, were going to be absent. WOW ! I did not miss them at all. All praise to you Mr Crispin as you managed to capture the spirit of Han exactly, his actions and his boyish charm just leapt off the pages. I was very impressed with this novel and cannot wait until I get my hands on the hutt gambit. Long may you roam the star wars universe, and may the force be with us all

Summary: Very good but I need toread the third book
Review: I found this book very good. I'm reading it over again. Of all the stories I've read where Han Solo is a caracture this one seems to focus on the making of the person/personality. Granted it's not the best written but the style is good and real thought went intodepicting a life to it's conclusion. A lot of questions remain. I want to read the third book and see if it will tie up the threads. Good job.

Summary: WWWOOOOOOOOAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
Review: I loved this book. It was the best Star Wars book I have ever read in my life! I lik how it fills in the gaps of Han Solo's life. I also like how Han is projected. It was like I was actually there! This book was also touching for me. It was hard to put it down when I finished it. Thank you Ms. Crispin for making this book. I am dying to see the rest of the trilogy, and May the Force be with you!

Summary: So far, it's great!
Review: I love this book! I'm not finished with it yet, but it seems like everything is going great. True, there are some points that seem predictable, but there are enough twists to keep me reading. I like the connection with Alderaan early on. This book brings to mind the Correllian trilogy and the Zahn books. Keep it coming, Ms. Crispin!!

Summary: The best since Timothy Zahn
Review: This story is truly worthy of the Star Wars title. In a world where Star Wars books seem to materialize in the bookstores every week (some quite good, others not so), it was nice to finally come upon a Star Wars novel that was very heavy on the character development and had just enough of the traditional Sci-Fi element to remind you that this was still the playground that George built. This is not just good Star Wars, but a great, great story that reads like the epic movie that spawned the book series. Multiple locations that are all brought to convincing life by A.C. Crispin, extremely believable characters that you CARE about, and a trimphant ending that really makes you feel that you're sitting in a packed theater having just watched a classic story unfold. The dialogue and relationships are well written and Han Solo has never seemed to real. My only disappointment is that this book could not be honored with a hardcover version. It is a classic.

Summary: This book a 10+ loved it
Review: Finally some one got some of the questions of the most mysterious charecters of the whole anthology of Star Wars. This book ranks the best in all of the Star Wars novels.
