Rating: Summary: Good book Review: Wonderful book very creative It has a good start with action and tells you of Little Han Solo's past and when he yelled at the droid Amazingly funny If you have read other books with han in them you'll see why
Rating: Summary: Fantastic book! Review: A few years ago, I was introduced to the SW novels. I looked everywhere for that one book that would let me in on Han Solo's past. Well this book,"The Paradise Snare" is the first book of three that tell exactly that. The author put together a fantastic set of books that goes into detail about Han's life growing up before "A New Hope". If you are a big Han Solo fan this book and the two that follow it are a must read.
Rating: Summary: Crispin, an Author Definitely Worthy of the Star Wars Name Review: This was a great book. A.C. Crispin did a marvelous job of telling about Han Solo, the swashbuckling hero, before he was a swashbuckling hero. Crispin has a vivid imagination that is sure to capture you with this wonderful piece of artwork.
Rating: Summary: Utterly smashing. Read it. That's an order. Review: Of all the Star Wars books I've read, this book, and it's followers stand out in my mind as the best. Many people would agree that, other than Boba Fett, Solo is the most interesting character in the SW universe. The ties between Han's past, and what we saw in the Triolgy were excelent. One can really see how his character developed into the Solo we know from these books. Some espically good parts were the relationship with Dewllana the Wookiee cook, Han's visit to Coruscant, and the escape from Ylesia. Other than han himself, Muuurgh was the best new character. And the ending, it's hard to describe very well. You'll have to see for yourself. Read it, and may the Force be with you. Always.
Rating: Summary: Slow starter, but very interesting Review: This was a good book, once you get past the very slow start with all the annoying little flashbacks (insightful though they were). Once I got into the meat of the book, I really enjoyed it. I feel the character of Han Solo was portrayed very well, his attitude and style were all his own, and very convincing.
Rating: Summary: This book kicked buttocks as far as I'm concerned!!!!!!!!!!! Review: The Paradise Snare was an excellent book! A.C. Crispin has done an excellent job with the whole Han Solo trilogy. I loved every one. Crispin's trilogy does an excellent job of telling about Han Solo's life prior to the all mighty Star Wars trilogy, and the Paradise Snare is an excellent beginning to the Solo Trilogy. An absolute must read!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: One of the best Star Wars books published Review: The hut gambit is truly an extraordinary book, writer Anne C. Crispin really know how to get into the heads of her characters and describe their world. Prehaps the best part of this book is that han sees his lost love Bria a couple of times but they dont meet, so readers arwe kept in suspense. And the Funny jokes and detailes really add sugar to this book. Anyway this book is not to review it is to read. Again again and again.
Rating: Summary: Best Star Wars book I ever read Review: I think that Crispin is probably one of the best sci-fi authors I have ever read. "Paradise Snare" was so vivid I remember every detail. The first chapter had me crying. I have never cried over a book. A definate must!
Rating: Summary: A good addition to the Star Wars Series Review: This is alot different than any other star wars books. There are new and good characters like muurgh Han's new friend and Bria Han's girlfriend. This book is very well detailed and has a good story of Han's life. Overall this a good book, but is boring at times. A good read.
Rating: Summary: The first Star Wars book I read: and I loved it!!!!!! Review: This book is the best written in the whole world!!!! You have got to read it!! It has everything you want in a star wars book. And I loved the way A.C. Crispin describe Han's childhood. She truly has a great imagination.Iyou read this book you will be amazed of how great this book is. It is the GODZILLA of all books.
