Rating: Summary: Neat wrapping up! Review: Simon seems to have a way of wrapping things up neatly at the close of every series. Everything conveniently falls into place. I read the Deathstalker series over a period of 3 months, because I was busy. I had forgotten some of the details in the other books, until I reached the end of this book. Suffice to say, all the loose ends were revealed and cleanly wrapped up. The series is very entertaining, and a great read! Highly recommended!!! I've a feeling Simon will write something to continue this series, since there are still some loose ends left.
Rating: Summary: Takes you to another world! Review: The beauty in Green's Deathstalker series is not found in the conventional places. Reading and daring to believe in the Deathstalker characters easily overcomes the sometimes loose-knit plots. While immersed in one of Green's books, I find myself in another world where thoughts and will take on a tagible force.
Rating: Summary: The Best series ever! Review: The best Sci-Fi series I have ever read, keep it up Simon, were waiting on pins and needles!
Rating: Summary: Could be better, but still a masterpeice! Review: The book is definetly worth buying. The ending was a bit sad, seeming like Green just wanted to get rid of the job to continue the series. Besides that, a great masterpeice. A definete 5 Star to this book and the whole series!
Rating: Summary: A Depressing Ending to a Great Series Review: The Deathstalker series is absolutely wonderful. By the time you reach this book, you know the characters, you love the characters and you can't wait to see how it ends.Well it ends. It's like Simon got tired of writing or ran out of ideas and basically just cuts the cord. I was left disappointed and angry. Mind you, I loved the series... I just think he could've written a better ending. And is it really the end? Some things are left as if there is another series on the way... After all what about the mysterious aliens that are on their way to destroy life as we know it?
Rating: Summary: Extremely wrong... Review: The fifth book in the deathstalker series is very unpleasant end to a great series. For anyone thinking of reading this book, I would highly recommend stopping before the last 10-15 pages of the book. Believe me... you really don't want to know. These last pages are exactly what you don't want to be reading about the characters you have gone through 4 books with! A disgusting end to a wonderful series...
Rating: Summary: It is incredible! Review: The first book of the series is one of the best books that I have ever read. The series itself is incredible. A sci-fi fan must read!
Rating: Summary: good book and series but..... Review: This series was in most parts very good. The stories moved at a fast pace and the fight secnes were great. The dialouge was interesting and funny. The only real gripe I had was the finaly.WARNING!If you have not read this book you may not want to read this next part!I hate when the main character dies at the end expesialy Owen(he exausts his power and gets killed by a gang of morons,on Mistworld. And when Hazel finds out it says she flys of never to be seen again).
Rating: Summary: A Great if not Infuriating Read!!! Review: This whole saga of the "Life and Times of Owen Deathstalker" has been an incredibly fast, fun & wild ride. I real enjoy a good well "fit together" series. The author ties all of the books and the many characters in this series together extremely well in the last novel "Deathstalker Destiny" (mostly in the last five pages). The Infuriating part for me is that Simon Green has no problem killing off any of the main charaters in the series, nuff said... All in all it was a great wrap up to the series and I enjoyed the vivid characterization and inmaginative hard core,(not to mention original) Sci-Fi saga Mr. Green created here. Read them all & enjoy!!
