Summary: A Magical Experience!
Review: This book is truely the most amazing and compeeling book I have ever read. I have read this one and its prequel at least a dozen times each in the past year. Every time, I discover something different and understand the story better. This book and the previous are still edge of your seat page-turners. Even though I have read them over and over, I still sit up all night to finish reading them. Warning: Once you start to read these books, you can't put them down! The realism and wording of this books transports the reader to another world and makes you feel like you are a part of the story. I recommend this book to everyone, especially those who love to read books that follow different characters. There is a character in this book that any reader can relate to. When my english prof asked me to write a paper on my favorite book and try to convince her to read it, this is the one I chose. I am so glad that I bought it, I will treasure it and read it for as long as it holds up!

Review: well, i think this book reads like a mystery in that i could not decide which boy was Glenin's son. Clues pointed to both of them...I loved this, and i absolutely can not wait unti lthe third book comes out! I want to know what Caisha does with the mageborns!!

Review: The book was wonderfully written and even left one of the more skeptical readers of the series (me) enthralled! The suspense of Joss or Jored kept me biting my nails and never putting the book down! I want a hint to the next book! Just a tiny one...PLEASE!!!! If you like fantasy and especially mage-lore it is great.

Review: I really enjoyed the suspense in this book. I thought I had the whole mystery solved when I wasn't even half done with the book...boy was I wrong! The only bad part in this book was the cliffhanger ending...PLEASE Ms.Rawn end my misery let me find out what happens!!!

Review: This is absolutely one of the best books I¡¯ve ever read. It has excitement, romance, magic, humor, and just a touch of politics-exactly the kind of fantasy I like. It¡¯s the first thick book I¡¯ve ever finished and loved. It¡¯s a bit long but I like the way the Rawn kept the reader in suspense about the truth about Jored and Josselin until the end. Cailet is my favorite character and I can¡¯t wait to read The Captal¡¯s Tower and find out what happens to her.

Review: Even though I read this book about two years ago I still remember everything. . This was the first Fantasy book I ever read , now I have several shelves of Fantasy books. Although I skipped the first book in the series (the Ruins of Ambrai) I was still able to comprehend the Mageborn traitor. This book is wonderful and I recomind it to lovers of Fantasy novels.
