Review: The book is excellent because it provides more of a focus on Anakin than te film. the book is well written and is a great supplement to the screenplay.

Review: well for star wars fans, its a great way to build up excitement towards the movie, it is going to give you all the excitement and characters that you'll learn to love about the brand new star wars movie But, if reading is your thing, stay away from this book, it is so non-descript in describing everything, its a joke, and it is difficult to follow, you understand who is battling who, but you dont get a vivid picture of what is happenning during the battle wait for the movie, PLEASE!

Review: I believe this is a wonderful book and I suggest it to A L L Star Wars fans. I bought my copy after school this afternoon and just finished it. Terry Brooks is an excellent author, and is to be trusted to do well with this. The only problem with this book is it spoiles the movie, and I now know the entire plot, but oh well. PLEASE!!! If you love the Star Wars universe, this book is a M U S T! ! !

Review: Ok, lets start out by saying some positives. The story was good, not earth shattering, but good. Unfortunately if you are looking for a solid sci-fi read grab Heinlen and leave this book in the dust. The book is geared torwards fourth graders and really doesn't challenge the reader in the least. I expect the movie to be alot better but they usually are in screenplay to book adaptations. If you have 20 bucks burning a hole in your pocket and are a huge Star Wars fan then by all means get it. If you are not, then get something that is a little deeper. One thing is certain this book is not deserving of 5 stars, people who are rating it that high IMO are caught up in the pre SW hype. Then again so am I considering I bought the book ; ).

Review: I read this puppy in about two days total because I was Jonesin' to know what the heck happens in this film. Now I know and I think its pretty good. I'm sure the film will blow it away completely. I did find myself constantly wondering, "How are they going to pull that off on film" throughout the book. Like I said, its a page turner if you are a semi-Star Wars freak like me and I enjoyed it a lot.

Review: Always one to read tne novel before I've seen any Star Wars film, I dashed out to buy my copy right away and promptly sucked it down. And now, the review. I like Terry Brooks, always have, but if you're looking for his great storytelling style, you might almost miss it. Brooks has toned down quite a bit for this novelization, and may be a let down for Brooks fans everywhere, but the storytelling is very solid and catapults the reader into George Luca's universe rather well. And nobody creates a universe quite like George Lucas. The story is incredibly fast paced and moments taken to reflect by the characters are welcome breathers from all the chasing and swordplay. The characters are wonderful, especially the comic Jar Jar Binks and the unexpectedly dour Obi Wan. This book will keep Star Wars fans happy for a long time. I've seen a lot of reader reviews that are really trouncing this book, and I say, keep it up, fellas!! Anything that might make the line for tickets shorter for this fantastic story is worth a million reviews!!
