Rating: Summary: Thrilling, Worth Reading Review: This was the first STAR WARS book I ever read, I'm a fan of STAR WARS but this book got me into all the STAR WARS reading. At first I felt kind of obligated to read this book because my favorite author, Terry Brooks, wrote it, but after about 15 pages, the book had me entranced, I loved it. This book was great, I really liked the background on the Sith, which didn't get told in the movie, and I also liked the begining pod race and Anakin's helping the Tuskin Raider, I thought that was very important information that need to be and should have been put in the movie. Overall, I loved this book, and I have nothing bad to say about it, I also really enjoyed the movie, even though it skipped a few key point discribed in the book. I recommend reading this book, possibly before watching the movie. A great book worthy of any true STAR WARS fan.
Rating: Summary: JUST GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Review: The movie was simply awesome and this book is great. It gives so many insights on what is happening in the mind of the characters and it also serves as preview of what may happen on the subsequent episodes of this saga.
Rating: Summary: It was the best! :) Review: If you can't get enough of the movie, try the book! You can spend enough money on those movie tickets and buy the book. It is just like seeing the movie, but you can take the movie everywhere! I think that everyone will love the book! Even if you aren't a Star Wars fan! I just loved the book so much! It gave such detail to everything and said (I think) every line in the movie! It was just breath-taking! Remember to read it over the summer!
Rating: Summary: You feel the Force! Review: This book brings you back to the fantasy and emotion of this saga. You can feel the characters as you read the book.
Rating: Summary: A must read if you enjoyed the movie!!! Review: I loved this book and I'd even go far enough to say that it is the best novel in the Star Wars series that I have read. If you have watched the movie, you have to read this book because it has some scenes not in TPM and because it gives good explanations and motivations for some of the characters actions that are not explained in the movie (ie. Reason for Anakin shooting the ship in space). The book also goes deeper in the relationship between the Queen and Anakin that I wished could have been in the movie and also gives a very good characterization of Qui-Gon and why he does the things he does. Very good book!!
Rating: Summary: Great read for a Star Wars fan! Review: The novel was written well, and the story in general is interesting. The movie is amazing, and the only aspect that the book lacks is character background. Of course that could be because it would reveal plot lines for future movies. But that did not mean I didn't miss it. The classic Star Wars myth is still alive and well in the begginning of the saga.
Rating: Summary: This book was great! Review: This book was well written. Terry Brooks did an amazing job of describing the movie. The book explains more than the movie, so if you were confused, I suggest you read it. Actually, I suggest it to anyone!
Rating: Summary: Terry Brooks is a master of description Review: In this extremely well told story of Jedi and how they get tangled up in messes that even I couldn't imagine, Terry Brooks played it simple giving images of nicely set areas and interesting descriptions we loved in the movies, like Jar Jar. A good conversion of the screenplay also made this book a fascinating tale. It was rather short, I loved it!
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: I like this book. It is really good. I espescially like the parts that wern't in the movie. (The podrace in the beginning and helping the tusken raider.) Terry Brooks did a really good job on this book. (Do not look to far below or else you will find some negative reviews)
Rating: Summary: read the book along with watching the movie Review: Those that enjoyed the movie will find the book even more exicting. From reading the book along with watching the movie one can fully grasp the true effect that George Lucas wanted to insall in The Phantom Menace.
